A white man was caught raping a 6-year-old black girl in South Africa and the video of the aftermath of the incident has emerged.

The girl was allegedly raped in the men's toilet of a Dros franchise in Silverton, Pretoria, on Saturday. The alleged rapist had been watching the girl in the children’s play area. As she went to the restroom he snatched her up and dragged her to the men’s bathroom.

The footage shared online starts after he got caught raping her. He was covered in blood once the cameras started rolling, apparently from the beating he got from those who caught him in the act.

The Dros restaurant group has issued a statement three days after the incident. In the statement, the restaurant "confirms" the incident.

The statement reads:

We have been in contact with the parents of the child to convey our sympathy and offered our assistance in any form that would (or could) reasonably be required in a matter of this nature.


Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that a rape case was being investigated. Dlamini said a suspect had been arrested and that the man appeared in court on Tuesday.

Manspreading has been causing a lot of problem of late, especially when the man involved opens his leg so wide that he inconveniences the person sitting next to him. And a woman decided to take laws into her hands.



Anna Dovgalyuk, 20, from Russia, has taken it upon herself to begin splashing water mixed with bleach onto men’s groin on underground trains in order to tackle manspreading.

The lady, who is a female law student, has been targeting males sitting with their legs spread wide on public transport in St Petersburg, Russia. The social activist said "gender aggression" is a problem that her country is slow to counter so she's doing something about it.

She tackled the "disgusting act" by splashing a mix of 30 litres of water and six litres of bleach into the groin areas of men she deemed to be sitting in an offensive manner.

Miss Dovgalyuk said:

This solution is 30 times more concentrated than the mixture used by housewives when doing the laundry.

It eats colours in the fabric in a matter of minutes – leaving indelible stains.


The activist complains that manspreading is being "fought around the world – but hushed up here".

China Eastern Airlines has fired a flight attendant, months after accepting the marriage proposal of her boyfriend during the middle of a flight. .

In May, a video of an unnamed man proposing to his stewardess girlfriend mid-flight had gone viral and created quite a buzz on social media. .

However, the proposal cost the flight attendant her job. According to an Asia One report, the company fired the employee on the grounds of neglecting the passengers. .
