ppogba: Activist investor will find it difficult to penetrate if you acknowledge the fact that AIG himself na guy man. Besides, they own the majority of the shares through various means, proxies inclusive.
The solution na make person leave their bank for them.
Instead of praying for Access, I will take the time praying for HELL RUFAI. Otudeko held grip over FBN for over two decades. It’s taken one activist investor to dismantle that grip. The same can be done to Access bank. They own less than 7% of the bank shares. |

ppogba: Good Morning.
Bros, forget about body language.
Forget about being punished.
Though debatable, the access management has the least integrity in the banking sector for now. You can never trust their words especially where and when your life is involved. The AGM was a charade and AIG sounded more like a typical politician than a bank executive. “Let shareholders pray for Access bank and bla bla nonsense” Access bank needs an activist investor to wake up the management and challenge their ownership grip on the institution. |

ositadima1: My target is above ₦100. I think FIRSTHOLDCO may be chasing after ZENITHBANK and GTCO. If it moves above Zenith, the real question will be: Can it sustain strong dividend payments, or is the buy side simply deep enough to keep pushing the price higher?
Disclosure: I bought a few months ago and still hold a position. Cmon Access Bank, wake up from Slumber! 😊 |

Youngzedd: GTCO has done it again.
2024 total dividend: N8.03k
14.08% yield using the 31st December closing price of 57 naira. Impressive dividend but GTB had to throw a big bone to the market considering the public offer was a failure and under scribed. In my personal opinion, I don’t see GTB paying 8 naira dividend for 2025 financial year. This dividend is motivated by another market offering and forex windfall. |

The rates had only one way to go and that’s upwards. A budget of 54 trillion and oil price far below the budget estimate, coupled with the possibility of a negative oil price in 2025, the rates needs to move upwards to attract FPI. It’s the FPI participation that brings in the foreign currency not domestic investors. |

emmanuelewumi: 2025 forecast for the Oil Plantation in Ghana
Revenue GHC 752 million (N78 billion) Gross profit GHC 377 million (N39 billion) Operating profit GHC 376 million (N29 billion)
2025 forecast for Presco. Revenue grew at a compounded annualized growth rate of 52% from 2019 to date, it actually grew by 88% between 2023 and 2024. For the purpose of this forecast I will use 40% revenue growth,. Gross margin for 2024 was 76% but I will use 70%, Operating margin for 2024 was 62.5% but I will use 55%
Revenue N224 billion Gross profit N157 billion Operating profit N123 billion.
Combined 2025 Operating profit of Presco and that of the business in Ghana will be N123 billion+N 29 billion = N152 billion which is a conservative estimate
Presco currently has a debt of N58 billion the corporate bond will increase it to N158 billion. The total debt will about the same value with the estimated operating profit for 2025
With this there is a very high probability that the corporate bond will be liquidated between 3 and 4 years Good analysis but you left out a key information, the price of palm oil in the international market. Did you factor the possibility of these targets not being met should palm oil prices drop drastically? While these target are possible based on past performance driven by the surge in the price of commodities there’s no future certainty the trend will continue and a reversal won’t occur in the price of palm oil. |

Owoblowblow: Incompetent indeed. TP is the best president Nigeria has had since independent. No worry , wait till 2027 to vote him out. What were you expecting when TP got him. As far as I'm concerns he is doing his best to make things better. I van not imagine any of the candidate that contested with him to do better. Nigeria was skeleton when he got him. Can you imagine a country subsidising forex for people to go on pilgrimage etc, no production etc. I beg leave matter. Some political opinions on this page is just school boy reasoning. You mentioned pilgrimage but forgot the same BAT released 90billion to fund 2024 pilgrimage in March 2024. https://guardian.ng/news/fg-bows-to-pressure-approves-n90billion-subsidy-for-hajj-fares-report/What policies are being implemented other than propaganda? Food Import waiver, medicine import waiver, cultivation of an Imaginary 10million hectares, the list is endless. Propaganda isn’t governance! Stop this nonsense mention of 2027, votes don’t count in Nigeria. INEC selects and our judiciary validates the fraud. Did BAT win 2023 elections?? |

Agbalowomeri: Can you beat your chest and say there is still rent-seeking currently in BAT government? Has the government not achieved the same victory against the rent-seeking cabal? Is the true picture of PMS consumption not clear now? It's all about the right strategies and wisdom. To focus only on cabal is an endless battle that no government regime will win, believe it or not. BAT chose the faster route with attendant collateral damages. It will only get better from here. So you believe there isn’t any more corruption and rent seeking in government under BAT? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nigeria under BAT is now corruption free and on the path to world class development. There’s no ongoing development or economic policy other than propaganda under BAT, so to say things will get better is a big joke. 8yrs of Nigeria destruction under BAT will come and go but the supporters will still see no wrong or fault. Buhari supporters still see him as a messiah. 🤔 |

Agbalowomeri: If BAT wait for conditions to be right, no reforms will be implemented. In Buhari's 8 years how many times did Dangote postpone launching of his refinery? A refinery that was supposed to start operating by the end of Buhari's first tenure?
BAT understands this terrain very well. Scatter everywhere first then we will arrange it back. People fail to realize that some cabals were benefiting from the status quo and will do everything for those conditions not to be met This is a flawed argument and reasoning. It’s a known fact Nigeria doesn’t consume 60/70 million barrels of oil daily. How about cleaning up the system, taking on the cabal and overhaul of Nigerian governance system. BAT is a crook and lacks the political will to take on the rent seekers because BAT is a product of a flawed Nigerian system. If Nigeria electoral system reflected the will of the people, BAT won’t have acted with impunity. A man whom goves the National Assembly almost NGN500 billion in his first year in office but telling citizens to endure while the political class fed fat and getter fatter. Do you know what it means to drag 123million citizens into multidimensional poverty, I guess you don’t! |

You always talk about your investment being bigger than others, really on a faceless forum! The fact that majority on this platform don’t decent to gutter words like you do always makes your little mind believe that you have some monopoly of violence and a childish crude behaviour over others. Some members on this platform have been here since the days of SMN and their preferred way be one of a silent observer. The fact that you comment everyday doesn’t make you above anybody on a faceless forum. Emmanuel is wrong on every level and if someone of his reputation whom has been on this platform even from the days of SMN would go so low over a stock, then there more that meets the eyes. Emmanuel analysis on Oando isn’t objective but just a rant coming from a place only best known to him. You don’t convince people by being the loudest in the room! People have made money from Oando and will still make money or lose money, that’s all part of investing. Don’t believe every stock recommendation by members as most are already seated in the bus and simply looking to drive the herd mentality and cash out leaving everyone licking their wound's. |

KarlTom: If I may come in on DANGRICE.
A company (not a biz name as claimed) of such magnitude DEFINITELY has Private Investors with certain percentage holdings. Let's say a total of $1bn was invested. If Alhaji were to list 10million shares of that company, it translates to 100 per share.
Now for DANGFOOD to be formed, a valuation of ALL the entities would have been done to ascertain the ratio...
Nigeria is a sane clime too... Lol 😂 If Mr A names a building a “bank” with no operating license and regulatory approvals and invites you to deposit your funds, who you do so? Alhaji sought to play a quick and fast heist because it’s the Nigerian way of doing thing's. |

I bought at 6.18 and have sold and made 8 figures profits from Oando. Members are entitled to give an opinion on a stock but full disclosure regarding your bias should be made. The fact you don’t like the stock doesn’t mean it won’t make money for others. On a lighter note you have dogged my question; Please enlighten me with the facts at your disposal regarding Dangote rice Ltd that informed your opinion it was worth more than the other merging entities! Dangote rice wasn’t even in existence but Alhaji chose to play a fast one. In saner climes would Alhaji have been able to pull such trick just by registering a biz name and ascribing it some thin air valuation? |

emmanuelewumi: Mr Emmanuel, You promoted Dangote sugar merger without the facts and even forecasted a price target of 125-200 naira both on this thread and Treasury bill thread. I am sure there are many members whom bought based upon your analysis. What informed your basis that the biz was worth that price? Dangote rice wasn’t even in business but you pushed the narrative it was worth a lot than the other combined entities. The fact we are not in a stock doesn’t mean we should be against it. Even Aradel you pushed a valuation of #700, how did you arrive at such valuation? Selective bias is okay but do well to make full disclosure. Regards Did you care to read the previous auditors comment about the going concern status?
That is the first thing I read before going through the financial.
