A rigging machine who also is benches in Nigeria's legal profession! The joke's on Nigeria!

Nigeria is a very dangerous place, folks. Let's be very careful and perhaps prayerful always, please. This is the third time I'll be encountering this sort of blood cuddling story of incaceration without a case file or a charge! First was a very disturbing story which played out before and Ibadan High Court around 2010 or thereabouts. A kid sent by his father to buy kerosene, I think, got grabbed by a raiding police patrol team didn't return home that evening. The family searched everywhere, including police stations across the city and finally gave up. 18 years later, a friend of his father was visiting a relative incarcerated at Agodi prison and got spotted by the boy ((now a man) as he and other inmates were being brought back from court even though there was no case file or crime attached to his name! A judge of the High Court of Oyo State subsequently freed him after his old father and family engaged a lawyer to file for his release from the marathon illegal detention!

My own younger brother also suffered the same fate and spent 2 years plus at Kirikiri prison in Lagos. Again, no case file, no charges. It took a lawsuit before Lagos High Court to get him out finally. Even the Judge couldn't believe it someone could be incarcerated in a prison without any charge or court order to that effect! Like I said, this is a very dangerous country where weird things happen to absolutely innocent people daily and without consequences! May God help us!🙏

Our infatuation with money is to blame for all this. This is one society where every single thing is governed and determined by money and nothing else! In Nigeria today, anyone, regardless of how old, could swear publicly, using the Bible or the Quran, that the colour white is black, if bribed with the right amount of money, which in some cases, could be as little as 5K! And the worst part is that most people will look at the whole thing, laugh about it and declare it a "cruse"!
