The North lobby for many local government and this is the reason Kano State has over 44 local government to get more allocation and Lagos has lesser local government. Tinubu is also planning to elevate the status of every LCDA in Lagos State to Local Government as well.

I grew in the north and I've been to almost everywhere except the north east and still can't find these massive population we speak about. I think our argument is very different. Nigeria total population could be exaggerated, my point is between the South and the North population.

When you talk about these populations in the manner you do, it's often good to have been to the area to look around for yourself. The projections we are making places Nigeria's population per state to 6 million.

And it we are not to go by that then we have to assume that we have at least 10 states above 10 million lol. Not possible. I was born in the north and I've gone round the country and the only states where I've seen scary numbers is Lagos and Kano. And these scary numbers are still below 20 million.
