At the end of the deliberations, two states were mapped out for one final selection...

The two putative states were Adada State carved out of the present day Enugu State and Njaba State excised from parts of Imo and Anambra States.

At the final vote, Njaba State got the nod for submission for creation by the Federal Government....It was a national news which you can glean from recent archives. There was no time anybody had time for any other place outside the traditional five states...

The additional state creation was undermined by successive governments...
