I think the player is Felix or ojokojo
If Carl beats cancer he is going to the world cup, even if he doesn't play.
Said he told the players to give him out of their match bonuses.
Hmmm I think Rohr was the one who put a call across to the coach of balogun not to play him in that final game before Zambia.
I'm not sure Tammy will play for us o cos NFF had to get clearance from the FAs of Wales, Scotland and England for Ola stressful that.

Said fringe players will play against Algeria
Ogu was injured in the Last game that was y he wasn't subbed on(foot). Ebuehi as well
Said he won't invite home based cos our journalist wants it but only the best.

I'm still smarting from the big L this boy gave us, the NFF needs to move on from him.
When he sees his mate Alex and Aina at the world cup him eye go clear. He will be 25 at the next world cup. Then he will be like Zaha who came running back to CIV.

Aidy Boothroyd says Nigeria may swoop for England U21 talent

Tammy Abraham recently confirmed he remains committed to England after meeting Amaju Pinnick, the President of the Nigerian Football Federation

England U21 manager Aidy Boothroyd says Nigeria could still be trying to take his top talent.

The Young Lions manager remains on alert after reports Tammy Abraham was considering switching allegiance to the Super Eagles.

Swansea's on-loan Chelsea striker Abraham quickly denied the claims last month and reiterated his commitment to England, while Nigeria also made an approach for Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo last year.

Arsenal's Alex Iwobi elected to commit to Nigeria in March 2016 and - ahead of Friday's Euro 2019 qualifier against Scotland in Middlesbrough - Boothroyd conceded the country may try their luck again.

"They still might be trying - you don't know - but you can't blame them because they're good players," he said. "These are lads who have played for England who have an affinity with us and a relationship. When it happens with Sheyi I can pick the phone up, the same with Tammy.

Alex Iwobi began his international career as a youth with England, but later switched allegiance to Nigeria

"It's a hard one. I can't guarantee they are going to play because the group is so good. Tammy didn't start the game before last but that's just one of those things. Perhaps other countries will see that and get into him, promise him the
world and get him in the first team.

"It's an interesting one [with Abraham]. I saw like you all did on the TV. The good thing is we have a relationship and I can pick the phone up and say 'what's going on mate?'

"He laughs and says he doesn't know where it came from but it certainly didn't come from him. Twenty minutes later it comes across in yellow again: 'Tammy Abraham says he's going to play for England'."

England U21 face Scotland and Andorra next in their Euro 2019 qualifiers

Abraham could spearhead England against Scotland at the Riverside Stadium as they continue their Euro 2019 qualifying campaign, after drawing in the Netherlands and beating Latvia in their opening two games.

They play in Andorra on Tuesday in Group Four but Boothroyd is wary of Scotland, who are a point and a place behind his second-placed side.

Boothroyd added: "It's not a six-pointer but it's one of those you're desperate to win, and so are they. One, because it's Scotland, and two, because it's the group which won the [Under-20] World Cup [in June], they'll be wanting to get one over on them. It's a bit like 1966 when we won the World Cup."

Aside S. Ojo who is a natural LW. Who else do you think can man the LB position.

I hope it's time Rohr begins to experiment with other formations with 3 man defence Since we have more attack minded potent defenders in Aina, Ebuehi, ojo(if he is ready to play for naija) who can also fit in easily at LWB to complement v. Moses at the other side.
please forget Ojo he isn't going to play for us, his father doesn't want him to.

Yea but maybe Rohr is not sold on him. U don't want to lock him in when u won't even use him. IMO it is bad publicity if we cap players and end up not using them.
then why go through the stress of trying to get him to play for us? Remember he rejected us initially. Anyhow I believe he will play against Algeria when we quality

This Zambia coach wants to play on coy on Nigeria into thinking he'd field local players as he hasn't released his 23 man list yet. So Nigeria can prepare for local players only to realise on match day they have been fooled.

Well let's wait and see how it goes I hope Rohr prepares for both seen and unseen. African indigenous coaches playing smart. I wish all our players injury free games today, tomorrow and over the weekend so we can prepare adequately to get something off the Zambians.
Heard we have spies in Zambia. I think they will field 90% of the guys that played against Algeria.

we need a good bench
we have players out there that can make a good bench for us. We have them both home and abroad. Just scout them and no sentiment attached unlike that of 2014 worldcup, where flavour(uchebo) from nowhere was taken to the worldcup and papa Shola Ameobi

True sha said it himself. Besides it's his first world cup as a coach and redemption time for him considering his past records.

let's say we get lucky like Ghana. If we meet Uruguay in the Quaterfinals then I totally believe that we can qualify unlike what happened to Ghana.
my thoughts exactly, we need luck as well, we bossed the game against France in 2014 but fell short cos onazi was taken off.

Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs Zambia
Published: September 27, 2017
Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs ZambiaSuper Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has received bad news from London, with one of the strikers called up for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia next Saturday struggling to get fit.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi suffered a quadriceps muscle strain injury few days before the Gunners faced West Brom, which ruled him out of the Premier League match.

Iwobi was not involved in Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon due to injury, and the Nigeria Football Federation had to call up Aaron Samuel in place of the Hale End Academy product.

And the same scenario may repeat itself if the former England U17 international is not declared fit by Arsenal medics in the coming days.

Alex Iwobi has played only 240 minutes for the Gunners first team in all competitions so far this season, from a possible 810 minutes.

Arsenal face BATE in the Europe League on Thursday, and it remains to be seen if the Super Eagle will be in their traveling party to Barysaw.

I know he will qualify us for the nations cup.

Age not on his side but he will still be active for the next 10years.
what about his salary wahala, if let's say we get to semi-final, his stock will rise there will be offers from other countries and even clubs. He might weigh his options and ditch us remember Herve Renard.

Sir thing is if He doesn't qualify us for the nation's cup don't think they will retain him, besides age is not on his side.

Rohr already knows the bulk of his team if we qualify, some players will be given the opportunity to prove themselves but we have at least 15 players known.
. I actually don't know what nwakeme is doing on that list would have preferred Cyril dresser
