What hurts the most is seeing potential rot.
Young men who could learn trades.
Young women who could build businesses.
Talented youths who could master skills.
All of that traded for screenshots of “wins” that never last.
Life does not reward shortcuts.
It rewards consistency, patience, and skill.
There is dignity in work.
There is honour in process.
There is peace in knowing your progress is real.
If you are young and betting: stop. Not tomorrow. Not after the next ticket. Stop now. Lose the fantasy before it costs you years you can never recover.
No game will save you.
No odds will fix your life.
But discipline, learning, and time will.
Choose growth over gambling.
Choose reality over illusion.
Choose a future you don’t have to hide from.

I would never speak to my child like that. She is a human being and her purpose in life is not determined by her relationships with others. That’s a dehumanising statement to make about your own child.
