6. A Nigerian family, The Imafidon family, have officially been

talented Nigerian from Sokoto State.
8. The World’s fastest supercomputer was

9. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are

The entire world still envies our uniqueness as a NATION with
living together despite our ethnic diversity. One single country
with over 400 languages.
They will only tell you how Nigerians are scammers and
cheats, how Nigerians are into drugs overseas et al.
If you don’t blow your trumpet, no one
will blow it for you.

20. There are over 180,000,000 Nigerians
world over and only less than 250,000 of this figure have
traceable criminal
records. This is about 0.14% of our entire national population
in the last 20 years: nothing close to 1%. Shame on global

Nigerian. Nigerians are

Visit
Bwari (FCT), Aug. 3, 2013 (NAN) Maj. Hamza Al-Mustapha, who was recently discharged and acquitted of murder charges after 14 years of incarceration, on Friday, visited the people of Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
He told the Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Mr Peter Yohanna, that he came to thank the people for their support while he was in prison.
``I have come to thank you for your prayers and support while I was in prison. I thank you for the brotherhood concern you showed me.’’
The chairman thanked him for the visit and urged him to forget all that had happened and forge ahead with his life.
Al-Mustapha repeated the message at the palace of Chief Ibrahim Yaro, the Etsu of Bwari.
He said ``it is a beautiful coincidence that I was arrested on Friday during Ramadan and released on Friday during the current Ramadan.’’
He added that the relationship between him and the council started 15 years ago.
``I have had a very long relationship with the council and the people of Bwari and I always cherish it.’’
At the palace of Alhaji Musa Ijakoro, the Sarki of Bwari, he said he would always remember the people of Bwari because they stood by him during his tribulations.
``I have a commitment and in the spirit of brotherhood to be identified as a citizen of Bwari’’, he added.
The Bwari traditional rulers thanked him for the visit and promised to continue to supporthim.
Ijakoro offered prayers and wished him success in his future endeavours.
He was accompanied by Alhaji Mohammed Sani-Abacha, their wives and associates.
Al-Mustapha was the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to Gen. Sani Abacha, Nigeria’s Head of State from November 1993 to June 1998.
After Abacha's death, he was arrested and tried for murder and attempted murder of Kudirat Abiola, the wife of the acclaimed winner of the 1993 presidential election, Chief Moshood Abiola.
On Jan. 30, 2012, a Lagos High Court sitting atIgbosere convicted Al-Mustapha over the murder of Kudirat and sentenced him to death by hanging.
However, he was discharged and acquitted of the crime by the Court of Appeal, Lagos division on Friday, July 12, 2013.
The appellate court said there was no sufficient evidence to incriminate Al-Mustapha in the murder of Kudirat.
The verdict overturned that of the Lagos HighCourt which sentenced him to death by hanging. (NAN)

Everything boils down to 2015 gubernatorial race. The Egon people said they are tired of been ruled by foreigners (i.e migrants from Maiduguri) which the current governor Umaru Tanko Almakura and the emir of Lafia are and so they’ve started preparing for 2015 elections. The militia group actually recruited youths but they never did it forcefully, Egon youths voluntarily enlisted themselves because we never heard of such occurrence @ the church (Egons are predominantly Christians, say 98%). Sometimes, we see the militia group matching around Lafia peacefully with their black uniform not disturbing anyone or causing mayhem and even sometimes, we see their leader drive around his SUV robed with all sort of charms and we laughed.
The governor got scared because of the growing strength of the militia and even attacked them severally through Fulani herdsmen, they even killed a Fulani herdsman close to my house early this year.
The governor’s second shot was through the emir. He invited the chief priest to his palace and tried to charm him but the chief priest defeated him and it was even rumoured that the emir was dead that period. (RUMOUR)
Discovering that he couldn’t succeed with his Fulani herdsmen and the emir strategy, he decided to use the police, SSS and civil defence guys through the commissioner of police, one stupid Yoruba man that doesn’t know his job and really good at driving around Lafia with his dead BMW disturbing with siren sound. The commissioner fell for it and he sent his boys to arrest the chief priest of the militia. They claim to have gone there peacefully to arrest him, but ask why they went with machine guns. The killed some of the militia guys but the militia wiped them all, just about 6 of them escaped. I don’t think the militia group used guns because I went to the hospital where they deposited their remains (Dalahatu Specialist Hospital at Shendam road) and I saw deep cutlass cuts on them and I also saw stuffs like blue powder on them, they were burnt and were over 100 in number. Immediately this happened, the governor ran to Abuja and later ran to kano probably to meet with the emir. The commissioner cried all through but many don’t know why he cried. It’s because he’s to retire in 2 months’ time but now will likely face dismissal.
The candidate egons want to put forward is Solomon Ewugha (not sure of the spelling)
