PLEASE HELP!!!
I did my bio on the 16th December. Sent a couple paid mails but received the usual generic response. On the 15th working day, they sent an empty nsf and enforced another 15 working days with no additional mail requesting for additional documents or an interview. School resumed on 20th Jan.
I made a paid call intimating them that it's over the standard processing time and my school has resumed. The lady said they have been seeing my paid mails and promised to immediately escalate my application to the development department and I should just wait for an email from that department. No email came in so I called again on 22nd Jan then I received this mail.. my anxiety is all over the place.. school has commenced enrollment, my tired is also tired and POF is draining.
Please who has experienced this situation??

This journey ehn, but I am grateful for all the inputs from here.
My agents did all the processing so I can't really list all what they uploaded.
They didn't upload my work experience, employment letters and references at first, they said they'll still send nsf to demand for more. So when they asked for additional documents last week, we just sent them

I pray all those waiting shall be favored
Oh, I forgot, I have one VISA refusal in July 2024, Schenghen tourist Visa. Reason been that, there is reasonable doubt I will return after expiration of my VISA. Guess I didn't submit enough ties I am grateful oooo

logho: Visa alert!! Biometrics November 15th Empty NSF 22nd November NSF, 2nd December, my bank, Fidelity didn’t respond to their email for account statement verification. Fidelity said they didn’t receive any email. Went to headquarters in Lagos to print a new one and it was attested.
Another NSF, 5th December, evidence of post graduation activity. Sent same day. Escalation 27th December. Visa alert 15th January exactly two months after application. You don’t want to know how much heartache and tears I have cried😫. Be hopeful guys, joy is coming

Go to the VFS office you did your biometrics to collect it between 12pm-3pm on any working day. If you didn't book for courier, you don't have to wait for collection email.

Did you receive an NSF email asking for reference or did you submit your reference as part of the original application?
Perryshow: I think they are back from break, I escalated my case , and they responded to me from ukvi student team that my case is still under consideration...my annoyance is ,they have not gotten in touch with my references, like they just dumped the application somewhere ... deliberately waiting for almost the resumption date ...( Like that is a price to pay for being refused in the past )

SIMON78: I am with my passport already with visa issued, my case is overturned Decision and my passport has been there since 2nd December, I went to the British High commission yesterday and ask them to give my passport wether visa issued or not, they told me they will call me in the afternoon, by 1pm I received there call to come and get my passport, when I opened I saw the visa there issued. Just be calm, Mine took 6 weeks between August and September. I remember constantly refreshing the last page of this thread to see if others have gotten theirs and there's hope for me too. I even had to silence all app notifications except my mail cos of the anxiety.
The agent the school assigned almost cost me the whole process. He didn't apply till the second week my POF ended and also didn't submit all the documents I asked
I got an NSF mail the second day after my biometrics to explain all I've been doing since graduation ( 10 years study gap) . I responded with the mail composed by the agent, this time I added all my documents , Microsoft powerbi certificate that the agent said wasn't necessary, I even added the free online certificates I got on Florence academy .
Then the wait began, didn't hear anything for the first 2 weeks , had to put a call through , spent 3k plus till the call ended and I didn't get to say anything , I had to recharge another 6k to hear the normal generic thing they say but they'll escalate. I got a mail to give them up to 15 working days to reach a decision.
I checked the tracker everyday and it was still stuck at dmc (not sure if it's dmc or vac sef , the second step) , the third week I got " my application wasn't straightforward mail " ( I had to check NL and reddit fot the meaning to be sure that there's still no issue )
Meanwhile all this time I had ended my pof, so I was really scared. The fourth week I sent a mail and they said the normal generic thing again. The fifth week I was so hopeful , but nothing untill the sixth week. I got two separate emails in the space of 6 hours .
Congratulations! 🎉 🎉 Finally a success mail from biometrics done on the 3rd. Mine is next in Jesus Name. What other documents did they ask for?

Yes, I've also had Gtb glitch with my account statement recently but I didn't submit it with my application. I think it is a good idea that you want to see your lawyer, just make sure that the person is an immigration lawyer because otherwise, they may not be able to give you the right advice. I've seen people overturn their refusal decision by submitting a complaint with UKVI. As long as you're able to explain clearly and where applicable, submit supporting information, UKVI will get someone else to view your application and if they see that your claims are valid, they'll ask you to resubmit your passport and give you a visa. The whole process can take about 4 weeks and is faster than suing them or administrative review (you can't even do administrative review with visitors visa).
Nickipinky: Thank you . I am to see my lawyer tomorrow, I just wanted to see if anyone here also submitted GTB of recent got same result and how they went about it. The 3 points raised why I refused doesn’t make sense to me. The first point, I submitted my business acc, submitted tax clearance, submitted my tax card. I submitted my Zenith bank which is my salary account from the company I work. My Gtb Bank is just my personal savings account for normal Runs. Travel expenses.. in my GtB, I didn’t even have such money at a bulk in my GtB to even think of spending such 50m plus within 6 months:
The first reason why I was denied visa for Uk then was because there was an erroneous salary payment mistake from the company i work for. They paid me 620k instead of 621k . Just once. That was just their excuse for my denial, they said it was in consistent.
I'm sorry about your experience, I understand how you feel. It is true, Gtb has been having this glitch since they did that their core banking wahala. The glitch doesn't show on everyone's account and that's why when people like you talk about it, others think you must have tampered with your account statement. It is unfortunate that you didn't carefully go through the statement before submitting it. I think you should go to Gtb headquarters to complain and ask them for a letter acknowledging that the mistake is from their system due to their core banking transition. I don't know how likely it is for you to get this letter but if you're able to get it, you can submit a complaint on UKVI website; clearly explaining what happened. Attach this letter, the account statement you submitted and if possible, the correct account statement to your complaint. There is no guarantee that you'll get your decision reversed but I think it is worth the shot.
Nickipinky: How can I possibly get alert of 60m in 6 month! I feel GtB’s figure is for the whole transaction and not the 6 month. Cause like i said. I have never even had 60 million at once in my GtB , talk-less of spending that amount within 6 months. Where I for see that kind money at once. And no-! I didn’t tamper with my statement of account! That’s how Gtb gave me and I submitted. Within 6 month the highest that i have gotten in my GtB acc is not even up to 7 million talk-less of 60 million.

I did my biometrics on December 3rd and received an email from VFS after the biometrics that my application "will now be forwarded to UKVI" and that I should expect a confirmation email from UKVI that they have received my application. However, it has been 11 days but I haven't received any confirmation email from UKVI. Did you receive this confirmation email?

dewale2k: I use less than a month account statement for my mum her visa is out
hunee: ofcourse, it may take sometime for regularization, however it is not an issue as your emails are very much active for notifications viz-viz the transitioning
giselle237: TLS and VFS are merely partners for biometrics, document upload, courier service, lounge access etc; they don’t participate in the decision-making process and have no control over processing times. UKVI is the one processing visas.
Okay, thank you. I know that they don't have influence on the decision process but I noticed that visa decision news has been a little scarce since the switch. I was wondering if the transition is causing delays with receiving a visa decision.
