Bobomaigida: Thank you for your response, I will wait. Sponsor was scholarship from state government.
It will be advisable to wait for your GCMS notes to know the exact thoughts of the VO before making a decision to open GIC, opening a GIC does not take time, so wait for your GCMS notes, did you use sponsor? did you declare the sponsors' occupation? how close are you to your sponsor? |

JustMellow: Thank you so much for your response, please pardon me I am still getting use to posting on the forum. I was refused for insufficient finance. I have ordered my gcm notes. I want to know if it will be fine to fund a GIC account to show proof of funds. Yes I do have admission letter for Conestoga college.
Hello Makhel,
Why a Diploma and where you refused on the grounds of Purpose of Visit? If yes, consider changing your program to one that demonstrates progression and/or improve your study plan and ensure that it outlines your study prospects, impact, and benefits. You should have a valid admission letter before opening a GIC. Most of the banks will only open one if there is a valid admission letter.
Best of Luck |

Makhel: Hello everyone, I have been following this tread for a while now. Weldon to all the contributors and gurus in the house. I filed for my student visa application on the 13th of October, today I got a refusal letter reasons visa officer is not convinced I have enough funds to cover my tuition and living expenses. I had already paid 8000 cad for first semester fees. I also have ordered my gcm notes. Please my question is, while I await my gcm notes can I plan to transfer money to a Gic account? My program is a two year diploma. Thank you. Please, gurus in the house kindly reply me. I understand I have to wait for gcm notes, but I equally want to start planning since I already know generic reasons for refusal. |
