Health › Re: Living With Hepatitis B by makjo900: 11:28am On Jun 02 |
Brothermuzone: Since I discovered that I am living with chronic Hepatitis B, it has been a roller coaster of emotions. I got to know about this condition around 5 years ago. Prior to then, the only symptoms was the strands of white hair that was usually on my head for a person in his mid twenties. A random official test for a school brought this reality to my face and I started with the test. From LFT to other test as prescribed by the doctor. It was after the discovery that the symptoms started, the pain on the right hand side of the stomach and the frequent tiredness. I was terrified of hospitals and the tidings that it brings. It was much later that my brother discovered that he was living with it too. Strangely, he did not manifest any symptoms despite being older and probably living longer with it. I discovered that due to the fact that I hate slimy soup such as ewedu and okra and seldom eat non slimy vegetables such as spinach and all, my condition worsened. I have read a lot of where I came across a good number of people that are intent on selling one medicine or the other as cure for hep b and while I am not saying that it is incurable, most times the medicine is either unaffordable for an average bloke like me or unlike what they claim, the viral load will just reduce. I decide to carefully manage my hepatitis with this very cheap solution and safe to say that my symptoms have abated and while I have not being to take a count, I am sure that it would have drastically reduce.
I bought 400 worth of lime (Oronmbo or orange were in yoruba), 200 naira worth of jute (ewedu) and I sourced for the stone breaker leaf (eyin olobe in yoruba). I boiled everything for about 45 minutes and strained. I usually use 120mls twice or thrice a day. I also blend the ewedu whenever I am chanced and drink regularly. Blending does not make it slimy, therefore I can take it. I planted vegetable seed in a plastic container and it has become my go to staple. Sometimes I boil lemon grass with the stone breaker leaf and drink in moderation. This is to encourage anyone out there living with hep b to be intentional with the jute leaf consumption and other greens, avoid cooking oils, especially processed vegetable oils whenever you can and stop worrying so much. Try the combo above, and always blend and drink the jute leaf regularly
Majority are out to fleece you of money you don't have and compound your condition. thanks for this breakdown, it's really appreciated. How do you feel now? |

PlasmaTV: You are a Muslim, I guess. If the campus isn't islamized, why is majority of the lecturers Muslims? Why does every faculty have a prayer ground? Why can't you keep full hair, but can keep full beards? Why do they demonize ladies who wear trousers in dept of education, but don't say anything when people wear hijab? Why were Christian fellowships chased out of campus? Why was bus evangelism banned?
Need I go on!?
I know a lot of other things about the campus. Sit down and listen. Don't be emotional about the truth. If all these are reasons you consider the University to be Islamized then it's safe to say all the eastern universities are Christianized but why do you have problems with that of Uni Ilorin but don't have any problems with the eastern universities? |
Entertainment › Re: Top celebrities Refuse To Perform In Ilorin, Finest Reveals by makjo900: 9:04am On Apr 12, 2025 |
PlasmaTV: Your head is for carrying load, and not for critical thinking.
Please, when has the university ever been christianized? Instead, Christians have been victimized at every turn. When last was the SUG president a Christian? Faculty and dept presidents nko? If a Christian ever enters into politics, you make sure he is frustrated as ever.
Ilorin is NOT a Muslim state. It is a secular state.
With all the false religion, Ilorin still has an astronomically high number of hotels and clubs. Yahoo boys are everywhere. With the fake islamism o. Hotels are usually booked out, from Princess Luxury to G Pinnacle. And that's around Tanke area. I'm not talking about Taiwo/Post office or General.
Islam is a beautiful religion. But fanatics have made it so unappealing. Your governor, a so called Muslim, built an unnecessary flyover in Tanke, spending billions. That contraption has cracks! Did same for Unity. Spent billions to renovate the state hotel.
The state is retrogressing, beggers are everywhere, and even agberos have started gaining confidence. Instead of us to tackle what is necessary, you are defending extremism in the name of religion. Your head is empty completely. Firstly, Ilorin is a city in Kwara and not a state. Secondly, since you "tagged" Ilorin secular how secular are the eastern states in Nigeria? Can any eastern state accept what University of Ilorin accepted as confirmed by previous commenters until they "tagged" Islamized when they aren't dominating anymore? |
Entertainment › Re: Top celebrities Refuse To Perform In Ilorin, Finest Reveals by makjo900: 8:39am On Apr 12, 2025 |
BrightFuture48: This is exactly what I am trying to point out. Majority of students there now are Muslims and that reflected on how campus look now.
I could remember when it was seemingly christian dominated campus, you will be served preaching on and off campus even inside campus buses/taxis lol.
I think during Prof. Oloyede some strict discipline were introduced which seems what security was trying to enforce seeing you which of course not necessarily Islamic. When the campus was dominated by Christians, it wasn't Christianized but when it was dominated by Muslims then it became Islamized. You Christians are the worst hypocrites that ever exist. Ilorin is a predominant Muslim state but it wasn't a problem when Christians dominated but it suddenly became a problem when Muslims dominated. Can Muslims even make up 10% population in any South Eastern University? |

GeneralOuki: The funny thing is that you dumbass Muslims don't even know the difference between Judaism and Christianity and that's why your Mohammad went and copied someone's assignment and even copied the person's name and home address.
The Laws of Deuteronomy are not Christian laws, those Judaism laws which were given to the Hebrews about 300-400 BC, something they even stopped following before 500BC because there were a lot of apostasy during the time of Ahab and even Solomon.
No Christian church preaches this Law, it was never part of the Gospel of Jesus, in fact Christ preached Ploytheism .
In fact let me put it in a more understanding way for you. The Old testament is more or less just about the history of the Hebrews/Jews You guys have selective amnesia. Your pray with Psalms, Samuel, Chronicles, Proverbs, this very same Deuteronomy, collect Tithe with Malachi but a verse in Deuteronomy is mentioned you are writing BS. Is the god of new testament different from god of old testament? is the god of ki.llers like David, Abraham, Moses different from the god of Jesus is the god of the jews different from the god of the Christians. like i said earlier, you christians have selective amnesia. You aren't different from the muslims and the jews. Your religions are dis.as.trous and your god or gods are mur.der.ers |

Wimkeh: One thing I don’t understand is that Ukraine agreed to a cease fire but still kept attacking Russia. They even carried out a massive drone bonbing against Russia.
So my question is, do you mean Russia is not supposed to retaliate? If you don’t follow this war carefully, you’ll think Ukraine is being bullied.
But when Ukraine attacked Russia after they (Ukraine) agreed to a ceasefire, there was no news about it at all.
But when Russia retaliates, the news is everywhere. It’s now I really believe this media bias.
They’re all trying to sway the world against Russia. If I did not sympathize with Russia before, I now do. ‘Cause only heavens knows what they’re trying to make us believe about them without us knowing. i shock when i see am, they even attempted another incursion when it was clear as day that Kursk battle was lost yet that wasn't reported. They want the world to see Russia as rogue and evil country and Putin as a devil but it keeps backfiring. France and UK are the most pained countries simply because Russia is making them lose countries in Africa. Without Russia, those Sahel countries presidents wouldn't be standing presently. Sensible and smart Africans will support Russia in this war against globalism and imperialism. A win for Russia is a win for Africa and It's a win for the global south in general but phools will be phools, they will support their oppressors |

TV/Movies › Re: GOTV Forcing Christianity On Nigerian Muslims - MURIC by makjo900: 8:18am On Nov 30, 2024 |
dominique: I may not always agree with MURIC but I'm with them on this one. I suddenly noticed that instead of the GOTV decoder tuning into channel 1 which is their default channel, it switches to channel 100 a Christian channel. They've made the Christian channel their default channel now and you can't miss it once your decoder turns on. This is completely unfair to non Christians, if I was a Christian I'd be just as annoyed. They operate in a multi religious country yet they're forcing a particular religion on the people. They're still lamenting decline in subscribers, they've not seen anything yet. I've kukuma ditched their DSTV over a year ago, now it's time to ditch their GoTV and focus on smart TV fully. Na data e go cost me
Imagine you turn on your decoder and it takes you straight to a Muslim channel instead of the default channel where they advertise their channels and programs. Won't there be a national outcry of Islamisation IMMEDIATELY? It's been over 3 months now that GOTV has set their decoder to tune into a Christian channel once you turn it on and MURIC is just reacting yet Muslims are the intolerant ones. They can easily understand what the prof said, his main points were boldly highlighted in the article but as usual, the christians will always act victims and attack muslims in every way possible yet claim to be tolerant and shout islamization agenda. They are they worst set of christians on earth. |

Dlee1: These are the satellite receiver I would recommend to you. 1. Tiger receivers. 2. Mediastar receivers. 3. Aster receivers. Make sure they are the newer versions and that they are 265 Dvb-s2x2 enable.
The one that comes with account decrypt encrypted channels (PayTv) like those channels on blue band and others. There are different types of account that comes with some receivers. There are account like Cccam, Tshare, Nashare, Nashare2, Forever share etc. But I prefer forever share though I don't use it.
Those receivers without account cannot decrypt any pay TV. Though most of them comes with descrambler tools like biss, PowerVu, Tandberg etc. They are not account but software tool that comes pre-loaded on various receivers. They are like operamini cheat that we used in those days that have spaces for keying some information that enables it to work. I believed I have done justice to your questions. Thanks once again, it's well understood but just few more hints pls. Will the account come pre-installed with the receiver or i'll pay separately for it and is it a life time thing or i have to pay monthly/yearly sub? If i'm paying, how much is it? Can i use my DSTV dish with the installed DSTV wire connections with the receiver so i won't need to buy another dish. i appreciate your responses chief |

A pickup vehicle for carrying some loads. Lamborghini for attending party and so on. So, there are so many good decoders in the market. There are some that comes with account and there are some that doesn't come with account. But whatever decoder you intend to buy, make sure that it is 265 and dvb-s2x enable. thanks for the response, which ones would you recommend? what is difference between the one with account and the one without it so i can know which to go for and why? |
