I was part of that election back then in Ondo state. I remember we all voted AD/APP alliance of Olu Falae/Adamu Ciroma. But other parts of Nigeria, including Britain and USA supported Obasanjo. Obasanjo did not even attend the presidential debate, a precedent that has now become a norm with all presidents of Nigeria. I still hold that belief till today that Olu Falae would have performed better if he was the president.
