It's an acquisition of L1 problem. When they first learn Yoruba as their L1, and then learn English language as L2. There are some sounds in Yoruba, glottal sounds, about 4 of them that the native Yoruba speaker transfers into English as a result of their similarities.

So you'll find that most people who first acquire English as their L1 before Yoruba as L2 don't have that problem like those who acquired Yoruba first before English.

Did something like that in Linguistics back then, but it has been more than 10 years, can't remember much. There's a course on language acquisition, code switching and code mixing or so.

Mwisho was my fav the first time round not so much the second time. I was really happy they brought him back but I wasn’t feeling the relationship with merl. The wedding was such a turn off for me. The wedding on BB was for me as well. Merl fell hook line and sinker and you are right, Mwisho was harder to read.

As for Elizabeth and Kev, na so Kev follow girl with boyfriend until she finally married him oh. I can’t remember any other girl with Kev though unless it’s the girl who smashed in the door when she was angry? She has a real smoky voice and could drink anybody under the table…

Even though Saga has got his own for bodi such as his insecurity and Jealousy, you've got to accept that Pere has his own for bodi too. He was even still instigating yesterday, especially after Angel told him that he's instigated a lot of things in the house. He went on to say the reason he had done that was because Cross likes Nini. I had been thinking it was the outside boyfriend he wanna chase away sef). Anyway, Angel didn't need that info cos he knew that Angel likes Cross. That's like instigating Angel to have a problem with Nini. Funny he did that last Sunday to set up Nini. He was the one who instigated Cross to nominate Nini by implying Nini is a liar & a bad girl who's been doing stuff with Saga but lying to Cross.

As for Biggie exposing Saga and Nini, I actually thought he did right. It's Biggie and his rules and Saga broke it by exposing Biggie first . Beside this, this should probably teach Saga a lesson. He will be careful with his words from now on. He loves to gossip about random stuff a lot. I recall a time he was saying Maria's hair smells so bad. It was Nini who objected to it and said no, Maria's hair smells good and it could probably be due to the dampness. He would just drop some random gossip out of nowhere . Nini hardly gossip, if not for Saga. As a matter of fact, he was doing that with the likes of Pere and Boma at the beginning (all of them would be gossping) and that was when he wasn't with Arin gossiping too.

The only thing is I don't know how Saga would survive and be able to face other housemates in the house after the exposure. Nini has looked unbothered so far ( Nini is always cheerful to hides her pain tho. She mentioned it briefly to Queen during the kindness act that she does this often after her father's death). As for Saga, I don't know how he's gonna live with it. I saw how Cross was looking at him yesterday with hate all over his face. Well, Cross has never liked Saga but I bet it's gonna tripled the more after the exposure (he would probably be thinking that Saga turned Nini against him).

I kinda understand where you are coming from but Saga’s discussion with Nini was a bit deep. We can still look at Pere’s own as funny gossip. Gossip that you can repeat in front of the person. Saga’s own can not be repeated without some type of embarrassment.
