I remember those days wey I dey primary school and momsy dey carry us enter village during long holidays.

My maternal grandpa bin get 3 wives and the wives dey take turns to cook him food; and na the daughters of the wives bin dey do the cooking and dey serve am, of which my momsy bin dey among.

The food dey always rich and plenty, and when grandpa wan chow him go invite a child or 2 of the daughter wey cook to come join am.... and we go chop from the same plate with am.

Grandpa no go talk but if you no show better swallow eating etiquette, him no go invite you come chop with am again.

The swallow eating etiquettes I learnt from that experience are

1. Cut the size you can swallow at once. Taking a large lump of swallow and cutting it multiple times in your mouth and dipping it into the soup is.a No No.

2. Lick your fingers noiselessly and clean before cutting another swallow from the mound so as not to stain it with soup and make it look irritating/unappealing.

3.Cut the swallow from the same side of the mound and not haphazardly. (follow grandpa's lead)

4. Eat the soup from the same side (follow grandpa's lead).

5. Do not take fish or meat before him.

Etc etc.

The way I saw most of the housemates eating swallow no be but maybe just I dey old school like my grandpa.

It’s when you have a compulsion to do certain things such that it becomes obsessive.

For example some people are so afraid of germs that they can keep washing their hands more than fifty time a day.. They might not even want to touch things because of their fear of getting dirty...

Then there are some who are neat freaks.. They like to arrange things in specific ways and if those things get mis-aligned, it worries them so much that they need to re-arrange.

There are some who will always check light switches or locked doors over and over again just to confirm that the switch is off or the door is locked..

So many ways of being OCD but I think it’s wired to some activity in the brain... But the Brain experts may know better sha...

She has been like this right from the beginning and it makes me wonder if she even ever considered Ozo as a friend or if she only considered him as a romantic partner

Ozo's Diary Session
Ozo says he's okay. The eviction always makes the house
cold but the housemates are getting used to it and are now
able bounce back from the shock of the evictions.
Who he voted for yesterday and why?
He voted for Wathoni to stay over TrikyTee cos Wathoni was
sick last week and wasn't able to showcase herself. He
wanted to give her a chance this week.
He voted Vee to stay over Praise. He said he knows he was
going to pick Vee over him.
If given the opportunity to win the show, how would he do
it?
His general goal was to win. Understanding that whatever
decision he makes, no matter how his conscience sees it, he
is going to understand it's a game and he wants to win.
About their wager. They were tasked to paint The Heroes
of their lives.
He said the task came on time. Personally it's his Dad. it's an
opportunity to pay tribute to him for all the advise he gave to
him growing up and how he puts his mum and his siblings
before himself.
He believes it's an emotional task. He spoke to Nengi and she
told him she was going to paint her aunty who took care of
her as a kid. Nengi initially wanted to paint her pastor, but he
told her it musn't be an outside person.
What does he plan to contribute to win their wager this
week?
He said he is part of the reason why the house has constantly
lost their wager. He thinks the best things to do is try to be a
better guest in the house. He is going to help the housemates
to see what painting a loved one means cause he knows only
one or two people getting it right is not enough to make them
win.
He is grateful to still be in the house and he is sorry for the
infringements of Big Brother's rules.
