Akwamkpuruamu:Foolishness is talk of welcoming your Igbo brothers in Anioma to become part of the southeast Anioma is in the southsouth, not in the southeast. The southeast has been asking for an extra state, not for Anioma state. Only southeast nitwits fall mugu to any talk of making Anioma a sixth state in the southeast. |
Gov Soludo, please it shall be good for Anambra people if you connect the uncompleted Ekwulobia-Orlu section of Awka-Owerri road. |
VillageOracle00:I heard Tinubu say Nigeria HAVE a population of.. Wow. It's like addressing market women at Oyingbo market. Nigeria placing round pegs in square holes since 1967. The effect is illustrated below.
|
They include, a bill for an act to alter the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Cap. C23 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 for the creation of Anioma State and for matters. Anioma as the 7th state in the Southsouth zone is welcome. Two equalising states in the southeast zone are necessary. |
Yampotatocarrot:Owerri may miss Rochas of water fountain and Xmas trees only in Owerri. Rochas mugu. Hope Uzodinma is striving through building quality roads and street lights to make Xmas good for people in Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe, Mbaise, Ideato Mgbidi, Orueast, etc. It's the business of local govt councils to decorate their cities and communities for Xmas, state governor has no business there. |
Miramonica:If you are truly who you claim, you must be the most fooolish man to move on earth. |
simpleseyi:But Tinubu said earlier that he does not believe in one Nigeria. Every Nigerian politician, especially those from the south, knows that continuation of Nigeria is a disservice to humanity in Nigeria. But because they share proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region, division of Nigeria into more manageable countries is postponed till another doomsday like the one of 1967-1970.

olaiya2007:Yeah, this is a boost to Kamala Harris campaign. |
Omooba77:Nigeria will (s)elect a Buhari instead of a Kemi Badenoch. Nigeria's rigged and lopsided political structure of 36 states to blame. Twenty new federating units in one region but only 17 new federating units created in two regions by northern soldiers - that's behind the reason why a Buhari must emerge president instead of a Kemi Badenoch. There should have been more federating units in the two southern regions. Land mass or population is never used as criterion to create new federal units in a country formed by different regions. |
Abaki5:It's wholly wrong to develop a state through turn by turrn basis. Every Imo state governor concentrated on developing Owerri first. That has, as expected, led to population influx and urban expansion and ghettos in Owerri zone but shrinking of Orlu and Okigwe areas. Naturally, businesses and populations flee to Owerri from Orlu and Okigwe areas that are meant to wait for their turns. Guess why we have all federal housing estates for Imo state built in Owerri, unlike in other states where the estates are distributed among thriving cities. Guess what led to Imo one city state - Owerri. |
EmperorCaesar:The real mob is right now in Ibadan blocking roads and begging passing soldiers to take over Nigeria government from Tinubu. The mobs say they are hungry. |
ThatNaijaNigger:Looking for Sex be lazy man's business.

The taxes of the rich and the poor in Nigeria since 1960 fetched Nigeria how many kilowatts of electricity? Not to talk about the trillion Dollars plus earned from crude oil exports. The little gains made has been erased by Tinubu's APC since 2015. Wonder how some people believed this masquerade dancer would improve the economy and living standards in Nigeria.
|
T-Pain. Tinubu/Buhari said in 2014 that they would hit the ground running from Day one for 24 hours electricity. Those who believed them ...

Mujtahida:It's not done like that. In good climes, basic tests for roadworthiness are prescribed. Trusted mechanics nationwide get certified by VIO to conduct tests on every vehicle above two years of age once every year. These mechanics can certify a vehicle roadworthy or advice on repairs/parts replacements. After the repairs/replacements, the vehicle gets certificate of roadworthiness. If the vehicle is beyond repair, the vehicle goes off road and off public parking space. VIO rather mounts on roadside watching vehicles pass on the road, but not roadblock. VIO stops any vehicle it suspects to be unworthy on the road. Any vehicle found by VIO to be not roadworthy is immediately impounded by VIO - no option of fine. The vehicle is towed to any of the nearest VIO parking lot and seized. After paying usually heavy fines to government, vehicle owner has to arrange to tow the vehicle to either for repairs/replacements or junk the vehicle. |
Common smile, Reno Omokri could not afford while president Tinubu was smiling like a boy who picked one Naira on the road side when he's going to school. Reno was probably hunted by his calling Tinubu a drug baron in the past. |
0taPiaPia:The Vehicle Inspection Office can only be a criminal enterprise because of a dysfunctional police force or a dysfunctional justice system. Criminals go to jail. The VIO is an indispensable office for happy motoring. It does not matter how good or bad roads are in the country. We should rather disband the useless and most corrupt Federal Road Safety Commission. |
officialwdhtv:He could be chasing the red car to stop the driver and ask for settlement. Nigeria Police. Once he is in uniform and having a gun, he sees civilians as a stupeed lot. |
officialwdhtv:Trained police in other climes no longer mount road blocks to checkmate criminality. They do preemptive policing. Before you say police, this Nigeria policeman could shamelessly shoot the boy for affront. Too many poorly educated people recruited to Nigeria police these days are shaming the word: Police. They are plain robbers using government guns and uniform. |

Shifting top gear by IMSG on Orlu urban renewal. Start of asphalt layering on the principal road from Afor Ogidi to city centre towards Nkwerre.

Wow. This is the most descriptive of all.
|
You, Kwankwaso, had no foresight in 2014 when you northerners formed nPDP and joined APC to chase away president Goodluck Jonathan from office. Are you sure you now have developed foresight? |
Judge in temptation. Just N2 billion payoff, Yahaya Bellow is set free., This is Nigeria. |
integrity16:If VIO extorts motorists, the police should arrest them and prosecute them. They extort money is no reason to stop VIO. In other countries, a car must pass through VIO checks once a year before the car is allowed to ply the roads or park in public spaces. |
But the duty of VIO is stop and impound vehicles that are not road worthy. Nigeria's judges continue to make study of Law in Nigeria useless. |
RIP. 64 years after independence and trillion dollars gained from oil, Nigerians still indulge in this sort of risk to move around. Politicians pretend they don't know that Nigeria is better dismantled into smaller countries. |
