Just got my visa, tourist visa to be precise, although, I am going there in search of a greener pasture. Can I extend my stay there with a tourist visa and can I cross to germany from France on French tourist visa?

With your tourist visa you can travel to all the countries in the Schengen area, Germany included. I am sure you cannot extend a tourist visa to a working visa. I advice you apply for the appropriate visas for your intended purposes. I fail to see how smooth working illegally in Europe will be for you.

does a movie writer stand d chance 2be given a visa

You can only get a work visa when you have had a job offer from a company and they will have to request for a work permit for you. So yes basically if you get a job.

@mandovic,pls what is the requirement for getting admission and how much is the tuition fees, can u help one in securing admission? Thanks

Sadly I can't help you secure admission, I am not an agent or any of that sort. Tuition is usually between €400-€15,000 depending on if it is a public university or a private higher institution.

@mandovic,pls link me up on how to get the visa and come over for a pgd program, again how is life over there jobwise and permit wise

First you will need to get an admission to a school to get a visa, don't come here on a tourist visa hoping to switch to a student. You will have to go back. France is one of the best places to work in the world according to different rating, however, it is very difficult to get a job if you go to 2nd tier school and a foreigner with no or little command of French.

i need info about how to secure work in france, construction industry to be precise.thanks in anticipation.

Construction and Engineering, they are most comfortable with engineers who passed through their system. Except you get an international construction company that doesn't mind international expertise. Secondly for such technical jobs, you will definitely need a good command of French to even find a job.

How much will it cost to run a masters program in the sciences? How easy is it to get a masters scholarship or tuition waivers?

I think France is better known for its management courses amongst international students. The main barrier for masters program in sciences might be getting a good school that offers that in English. However, there are scholarships but I do not know of many Nigerians here on scholarships except those on TOTAL scholarships from Nigeria.

has any1 heard of france talent visa

France talent visa is basically for tech people who wish to have a start-up in France (I presume it will need a business idea and business plan to get it). You will be given a grant and an office space. Except you are exceptionally good in tech and can run a successful startup, it may be a rocky route.

Does France offer post graduate visa, after studies?

If yes, what is the duration?

There is usually a non-renewable one year work permit given to masters students after their studies to find a full time job.

Hi naira lander, please is it possible to apply for a student visa(MSc or any other postgraduate training) in an European university while on a 3month schengen visa in Germany.

This is not possible as you are required to apply for a visa in your home country or in a country where you a legal resident (not on tourist visa/schengen visa)

Pls house I need ur advise, am currently working with company and they are sponsoring me for a conference in France by April...my question is: (1) do I need to Present my personal account and payslip in addition to the company's bank statement?
(2)what other supporting documents do I need to present as the company are sole sponsorship of my traveling.
(3)can I still visit other schenge country after my 3days conference in France as I still have 12days of my leave

1. You will need to present a letter from the company detailing your sponsorship and how much they intend to sponsor you with(also proof of those funds from your company so your company's bank account should work here). You may also need to present your payslips at least last three months to show proof of employment as well.
2. proof of employment, your company's tax files and any documents that show they do business legally.
3. yes once you are in the Schengen area who can travel to at least 23 or 26 countries, its without border control.
