PropertiesRe: Materials Estimate For Decking A Building (12.5m X 5.8m) by Mandy003(op): 2:10pm On Jun 19, 2016
Druman:
Remember no details for beams and no drawing as well. The above is an approximate estimate from first principle. Also, note that I don't subscribe to 8mm rods for slab/deck work. Your deck is a small surface area with 150mm thickness a guess. That is what my rough estimate is base on.
@ Druman
Thanks for your inputs, I have now included the drawing (PDF) as attached. The columns and beam have been constructed and the next stage is to deck the area.

Can you simplify what 1/2 ton of Y12 will be in peices (how many lenght makes 1/2" ton)

PropertiesRe: Help Urgently Needed: How Do I Salvage A Collapsing Wall In This Structure (pix) by Mandy003(op): 3:00pm On May 28, 2016
stigmond:
May be you should start to re-lay those bricks again... In other to avoid any future damage... At least it can still be reversible now ...
@ Stigmond, thanks for your advice, however, the problem is not where you may be thinking, it's the wall with the beam running across and not the wall with bricks alone. It's the beamed wall with pillar that disengaged from the the bricks.
PropertiesHelp Urgently Needed: How Do I Salvage A Collapsing Wall In This Structure (pix) by Mandy003(op): 9:28am On May 28, 2016
I urgently need engineers in the house to come to my rescue on how best to stop the wall of this structure from falling due to the sloppy nature of the land. This situation happened after the foundation was filled with laterite and there was a heavy down pour. This morning we went to site and saw the wall like this; disengaged and almost falling off.

Please advice on how best to remedy this situation.

Thank you in advance.

PropertiesRe: The Making Of A 3-room Bungalow With A 1room Penthouse In PH by Mandy003(op): 5:37pm On May 27, 2016
snakebeat:
why should the dining be more ventilated than the living room sir?
@ Snakebeat

The dining connects to the living room and ventilation from ante-room is also reaching it. All the bedrooms are cross-ventilated as well.

There is a project to construct a 3-room bungalow with a 1-room penthouse in PH. I need builders/engineers in the house to provide the following information regarding this project;

1. The number of blocks that will be required to actualize this structure.
2. The duration required to build this house to completion.
3. The amount required to build this house to finishings.
4. Suggestions and ideas on how modifications can be done to the design as attached.

NOTE: The plan is attached and 3D pic of what this plan will be like upon completion will be appriciated.
PropertiesRe: Building from the Diaspora: 3 Bedroom Bungalow + Penthouse (2 Rooms) at Calabar by Mandy003: 11:30am On Apr 23, 2016
@ LondonCool

Welldone on your project. I just started a similar project in Calabar too, mine is close to the Ex-service Men Housing Estate just before the Tinapa junction. Though am using red bricks in this project. The land is steeper and sloopier than yours and my innitial plan was a 3 room bungalow for a start then leave space for duplex in future. My site engineer has suggested we re-design to a bungalow-penthouse as the house is too low compared to other building around.

We are on the verge of introducing a penthouse of a master bed room and a study/office to be on a decking floor. we are redesigning the plan for now and will welcome suggestions and advice on how to go about this.
