Adverts › Nigerians Abroad — Before You Send Money To Nigeria, Read This by Mangrove01(op): 5:01pm On Oct 03
The biggest problem with investing in Nigeria from abroad is not always finding an opportunity.

It is knowing who to trust.

I've been a Nairalander since 2011, and over the years I've read countless stories of Nigerians abroad and foreigners who lost money while trying to buy land, build houses, start businesses, buy cars, or invest in Nigeria.

Sometimes the person they trusted was a family member.

Sometimes it was a friend.

Sometimes it was someone they met online.

And unfortunately, some of the stories have been heartbreaking.

So I decided to do something about it.

I've brought together a small network of trusted people on the ground in Nigeria who can help people abroad with verification, monitoring, sourcing and other legitimate business and personal matters.

WHAT CAN WE HELP WITH?

Real Estate :property/land checks and project monitoring.

Construction :helping monitor building projects and contractors.

Automobiles :vehicle sourcing and inspection.

Business & Investments :investigating opportunities before you commit your money.

Oil & Gas : helping interested parties investigate legitimate opportunities.

Sending Money Home : helping oversee legitimate purchases, projects or transactions.

Personal Matters :including introductions for people genuinely looking for a serious relationship or marriage in Nigeria.

OUR PRINCIPLE IS SIMPLE:

VERIFY FIRST. PAY LATER.

We don't want you to simply trust us because we say we are trustworthy.

Ask questions.

Request documentation.

Verify the opportunity.

Know exactly where your money is going.

And where necessary, use independent professionals such as lawyers, surveyors, valuers, accountants or other qualified experts.

We also won't promise you guaranteed profits or tell you that every investment opportunity is safe.

If we cannot verify something properly, we'll tell you.

Our aim is to build a reputation based on honesty, transparency and accountability.

We are starting with a simple idea:

If you are abroad and cannot be physically present in Nigeria, you should still have a reliable way to investigate and monitor legitimate transactions.

If you've ever lost money in Nigeria because you trusted the wrong person, or you've been afraid to invest because you don't know who to trust, feel free to contact me.

Let's see if we can help.

Nigeria has genuine opportunities. Finding the right people to help you navigate them is the challenge.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Q: Are you an investment company?
A: No. We are providing verification, coordination, monitoring and other support services. Each investment decision remains the client's responsibility.

Q: Do you guarantee investments?
A: No. Nobody should guarantee that an investment will make money. We focus on due diligence and transparency.

Q: Can you handle my money directly?
A: Where possible, payments should be made directly to the appropriate seller, contractor, company or professional after verification. The exact arrangement should be agreed upon and properly documented.

Q: How do I know you are genuine?
A: Ask questions. Request documentation. Verify our identity and business information. We believe trust should be earned through transparency, not demanded.

Q: What if I want to buy land or build a house in Nigeria?
A: We can help coordinate the necessary checks and connect you with appropriate professionals for legal, survey and property verification.

Q: What if I just want someone to inspect something for me?
A: That is also the type of ground-level assistance we can provide.
