otokx: Thought it was from year 3 up since they have accreditation problem, bros of the 3 courses you are mentioning geography and environmental management is the easiest so if you are getting poor grades then you have to look inwards. Really can't profer any advice as i am a bit in shock with what you just said.

bt dnt b shockd, d name of d dept sounds like easy stuff, bt its far from it.. curently we dnt hav yr 1, by jan nxt session no yr 1&2..

otokx: have known graduates of mathematics and statistics who work in oil companies, banks and telecoms companies as data gathering and analytical experts amongst others, do not look down on any discipline.

i am in a state of confusion now, i am currently studyin geography & environmental mgt..yr2.. but wit a very very poor year one results.. i hoped to switch ova to pet. engr. to start afresh bt nw unexpectedly MATS & STATS.. do u advice i switch ova..

i also wrote dis recent putme in uniport, for petroleum engineering ,got 200... but wen dis 3rd list came out i saw my name in mathematics & statistics.. and i was like :'-( .... my question is can anyting good com out from it apart from teacher & lecturer job?

its right, and very good because, if u marry a girl d same age or older than u, wen u both cross the age of 45 she'll look older than u, and also ladies starts loosing sexual interest 4rm around dat age but d man's interest will stil b high even at 80..

to be frank, d first ting i notice is how beautifu 'or not' her face is, then i look further down to her bosom, then i'll check out her stomach if its big of fat, then wen i walk past her i use style 2 look back n check her 'backyard'...

This 2012 first list for engineering faculty to be specific, was all about upgrading.. Those candidates whose name came out upgraded their scores.. If you doubt me check the list and copy the jamb no. Then check their result you would see that most of them got within ranges of 288 n 272..
While their jamb was nt up to 250..
Isn't it suspicious they got 288 in 2O mins and not up to 250 in 3hrs..
Moreover reports say the exam was hard and mass failure for the faculty..
GOD WILL JUDGE THOSE UPGRADERS ACCORDINLY..

Its nt possible dat ppl can get range of 288 within 20minutes when in jamb of 3hrs they did not reach 250? In an exam dat was hard causing Mass failure for the faculty...
The first list was al about upgrading for engineering..

no they dont, bt wen ppl graduate 4rm dere they are given an exemption letter which is a litle bit equivalent to nysc cert wen searchin 4 job

sapien: Bro,first class is not gotten by reading for 6hrs in a stretch or intermittently.It is gotten by ability to decipher what you are being taught by your lecturers,and writing it out in your exams in the most convincing form;attending 70% of your lectures;doing and submitting your assignments right on time;blasting your continous assessment(tests)with good scores and above all,be very prayerful and trust in God!

I just wnted 2 confirm if dose ppl dat upgrade ar geniune, because it would not b fair if A gets 208 and B gets 192 then B upgrades to 240 and gets admission while A doesnt get any. I hope u get me.. Is d upgradin real?
