How to Celebrate Your 18th Birthday
Edited byJustin Tse, Teresa, Maluniu, Jewelrysfinestand 2 others
Turning 18 is one of the most memorable events in life, because that's when you'll change from teenager to adult. Have you ever wanted to celebrate that event? This article will teach you how.
Steps
1Plan your day in advance. What do you want to do to celebrate your birthday? Do you want to hike, watch a movie, go out to dinner with family and friends, etc? Try planning a week, month, maybe a year from your birthday, butnotthe day before.
*.Ensure that you have no work due and any appointments on that day, which is extremely preferable. But, if it is unalterable, try to do those things as quickly as you can to maximize your memorable celebration time once in a lifetime.

2Go out for a dinner event.Going out to dinner is special, because it provides you the chance to have a meal with friends, family and/or relatives, and you might hardly ever get the opportunity to spend time and eat together. Remember that you get to choose the restaurant, because it's your birthday.
3 Plan a birthday party. A birthday party is a great celebration, especially on your first day of adulthood. Try picking a theme for your birthday party, and having the guests dress up in clothes that match the theme, as well as providing food related to the theme. You can also play some music (upbeat and dance music is highly recommended) in celebration.
4 Plan a movie night. Most people like watching movies, and there are other things, such as snacks and drinks. Remember to choose a movie that all your guests agree on, and that won't give anyone nightmares.
5 Get a tattoo. A tattoo is a beautiful body piercing. You'll need to think of a design, find an artist, have some knowledge, etc. to get one.
EducationASUU To FG: N92 Billion Is A Debt, Not A New Demand by Marcelmuolokwu(op): 2:00pm On Aug 23, 2013
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, on August 22, 2013, Thursday, described as highly embarrassing, the statement creditedto the Coordinating Minister of the economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. The statement said that the lecturers were making a fresh demand from the Federal Government.
Dr. Usman Abubakar, ASUU zonal coordinator in Bauchi, told the newsmen that ASUU was not making fresh demand, but asking for the implementation of existing agreement, while the Minister's position was opposite.
"Contrary to the Minister's assertion that "ASUUis demanding for N92 billion", we wish to inform the public that the said amount is a debt, not a demand. It is a debt the Federal Government is owing staff of affected universities (both academic and non-academic) over a period of four years. TheFederal Government has to pay, if it has to show signs of a responsible and honourable government."
The ASUU coordinator also expressed shock at the insincerity and antics of the government, saying the Minister's pronouncement was a deliberate and calculated attempt to blackmail ASUU, confuse the public and reduce ASUU's patriotic cause to a mere payment of allowances.
According to Dr. Abubakar, the Minister's comment is an indication that government hadno intention of honouring the agreement, saying "how could the minister have made the claim of no money to honour the agreement when the finance ministry was represented throughout the negotiations in the 2009 ASUU/FGN agreement and the MoU. What couldbe more dishonourable and deceitful by a government than this?"
