Birth Story

During my antenatal onThursday I was feeling menstrual cramps like pain going on and off,I was checked and my doctor told me to come for inducement on Monday the following week,by midnight a strong pain woke me up while sleeping,i woke my husband and he said we should start going to the hospital but since I felt it once and I don't want the nurse to use my jajaina for experiment i told him we should wait till morning,we went to the hospital in the morning and I was checked(Chai that thing can be painful) the matron asked me how I was  feeling I told her it's like a menstrual cramp she smiled and said when the real labor starts it won't be like menstrual pain that I should come back by then, I told my husband i was craving fried rice with chicken so we went in search of that,when I got home I danced for an hour and my contractions started getting stronger I was able to manage it at home till like 8:45pm I couldn't take it anymore,I couldn't time the contractions sef, i just told my husband we should start heading back to the hospital, he dressed up when we got outside our car refuse to start  I was like don't you have a spare battery for emergency,do you want me to deliver at home,what do you stand to gain by seeing me in pains lol,my husband just stood there looking confused the same car we took to the hospital in the morning,he called his friend who told us he will be there soon, i couldn't take it anymore,my husband started begging that he is so sorry,his friend came and they changed the battery on our way i told my husband he is driving too slow and if he drives fast I will still complain,on getting to the hospital my contractions stopped,the nurse were like iyawo is back o,they hope it is not menstrual pain that brought me back in told them this is stronger than menstrual pain,they checked me and said I was 4 to 5cm dilated,by 11:00 I started having strong contractions and i felt I was in ulala land,i called the nurse to come and check me but they refused and continue watching Telemundo, after a while i called a student nurse to please check me,she said I should be calm,after a while i told them I want to poo,they told me not to push that it's my baby head,but they refuse to leave the series they were watching to come check me,I called the student nurse again and told her to please talk to me,she should just talk to me about anything,they started making jest of me by 11:20 pm one of them came to check me and shouted iyawo is close o,that was when they started running around,i was asked to turn around and push but my contractions stopped immediately I turn around and was given a drip immediately,by 11:40pm my prince came into the world crying his lungs out,after giving me a little tear and also weighing 3.3kg, hmmm it can only be God,here is a pix of my Lil cutie Khalid,Olamiposi

Yes, I'm no longer religious and this also release me from having nightmares and if I do have nightmares I don't take them serious, dreams are your imagination, non of it is real.

The mistake people do is running to spiritual people after nightmares, and these people will turn it tohi superstitious thing like spiritual attack which will add more fears to the person, the more someone is fear and worried the more nightmares, and at the end the person will end up spending money and time on what is not real, some spiritual people are fraudsters, tell the sister to be careful especially when it comes to religious female folks. @Marhyaam, an inner mind told a sister to fast 7 days fasting after a scary dream? Sorry, this is just hallucinations from the dream which it is normal, I won't call it schizophrenia since it's not frequent, don't take any of the dreams serious, don't let anyone deceive you it is from shaytan, a jin, demon or angel, all what happened to her was from her head, her imagination.

I had a scary dream when I was still religious and when I woke up, I heard a voice saying "you will die", I didn't even tell anyone nor fast nor do some nafilah, I just ignore the imaginary voice, this was very long time ago.

Tell the sister not to disclose her dreams to people, they will start given superstitious interpretations to her dreams.

For example something good happens to me, and my mind tells me to do sadaqa as a way of gaining Allah's Favour or saying Alhamdulilah nothing wrong with that.

Inner mind or invisible voice doesn't necessarily mean jinn whisperings.

And her family decides to join her, that's alright.

Fasting can be done for different reasons, it's not just during Ramadan or mondays and Thursday. Fasting is a form of dua

Wa Alaykum Salaam. Their fast is not even valid, Why? Because according to what you said; INNER MIND OR INVISIBLE VOICE. What is d meaning of that? There is difference if she and her family just decided to fast without being told by the invisible voice or someone. To be honest with you, that inner mind or voice is d shaytan, he's d one who whispers dat fast into her mind trying to lead her into bidah(innovation). I'm not saying it's haraam to engage in fasting as long as you wish to. Her action is akin to bidah, coz she( her inner mind) is prescribing what is not allowed to her, it even give her d number of fast and engaging her family into d fast.

Bidahh? Do you mean the fast they observed is an Haram... But we were made to understand by the scholars that fasting is a way of waving off evils.....
Needs more enlightenment on that

walaykum salam. did she make any dua or adkhar when she woke up? if no den she need to pray about it on her own. but d fasting issue is not valid to me and if her mind is not settled about it, she should make tahajud and ask Allah to save her from all evils both seen Nd unseen.

A sister had a scary dream and when she woke up her inner mind or let's call it an invisible voice told her to observe a seven days fasting but fortunately for her,her family decided to join her...is it right for them to reduce it to 3days fasting since they are all partaking in the fast.
