Probably you need to go and read your history books again.
Wars were fought to capture slaves, raids, children separated from their parents, a whole family captured and sold into slavery. Human were sold in exchange for drinks, mirror, salt weapons etc.
Pay a visit to Gore Island, Senegal and visit the Gate of no return and you will better appreciate the evil of slavery.
So stop commenting on what you little or nothing about

When u read about the factors that contributed to the growth of several African kingdoms slavery is a significant factor! Even before the coming of the Europeans indigenous kingdom wage war against each other to capture territories and slaves! So yeah slavery has been with us even before the coming of the Europeans! Also people forget to mention the trans-sahara slave trade too! Before the trans-Atlantic slave trade, millions of africans were sold into slavery across northern africa and even the middle east! Just that the arabs are so good in erasing history! To me the trans sahara slavery is even far worst and inhumane than the trans Atlantic slave trade.

What i don’t understand is , as an artisan or skilled worker, when a client send money to execute a job to my account large chunk of the money goes into procuring materials for the job would such money still be taxed since in was sent to my account?
My second concern is would it be deducted automatically from account balance?
Please someone should explain this for me🙏🏽

obajana is very close to kabba and also most benue people do work and farm across yoruba states same with bassa people of kogi and abuja, also from his intonation he definitely understands Yoruba, i wouldn’t doubt his testimony! Kabba is heavily underdeveloped with large numbers of the population living in poverty, the whole recent crime wave is highly caused by economic factors! When there’s economic depression there’s definitely going to be surge in crime, regardless this should not be an excuse to indulge in crime.

The honest truth is that i’ll rather trust and hausa man with my life than my fellow Yoruba or any southerner! Several times ive lost my phones in kano and Abuja and without much stress the hausa guys do return it back to me! We all need to understand how much poverty and suffering can push people into crime! The Nigerian government turned the north into what it is today! The only grace we the southerners had was the coming of yahoo that partially shifted our youths away from crime! If not for yahoo the south would have been much more worse than afghanistan!

The hunger is really very serious.
Yesterday I used the last money I had to buy rice beans and otter ingredients to cook, I managed the food from yesterday till this morning, since it was my Last food and there was no hope, I didn't want to eat it in the morning, but leave it till afternoon or even evening. Fear dey even catch me to eat am. But e don already dey smell, it was getting bad already. Life just tire me . I had to eat it before it would go bad completely. As I was eating it, I was eating with fear and worry about where the next one will come from.

I was just asking God, God what kind of life is this? The fear alone didn't even make me to settle down and enjoy the food. It's painful. I'm going to bed on an empty stomach tonight and no hope for tommorow either 🥲

I also saw over 2000grain processing mechine rusting away at the place , the authorities should really do something about it! This is what i was aable to save in my piggy 🐷 bank

1. N500 note (N47,000)
2. N1,000 note (N35,000)

Total is N82,000.

I had to make sure I look for the new note because I don't want to hear stories that the old note have been ban from usage...

Airplanes dont use any of the landing gears for steering! They use the flaps and rudder to change pitch and directions!

The crash may have been with low impact but the amount of jet fuel an airplane carry is the major reason for fatalities as its extremely flammable and it'll result in immediate fire upon impact and according to the detail provides about the crash the altitude was already too late to shed off excess fuel and to some extent I doubt the credibility of the new because most variant of Boeing 737 have manual way of releasing langing gears incase of emergency

this metro train is really useless to people staying in abj! why would the metro only run from central area to airport?? an area where 95% of the people there own personal cars! and the distance from central area to the airport is not even up to 30min! so the question is why is the train not plying the most viable routes like gwagwalada to area1 and wuse berger! passing along the airport road highway that way it would have been accessible to most important places with large population and traffic! the train is just a show off to beautfy the airport and central area ! when is this senseless government going to prioritize the masses? this country matter just tire me!
