ModsWillKillNL: That is your own cup of tea.
The day you graduate from school and/or land a good job your orientation will change.
You keep sounding like my 3rd sibling.
Only nonentities will say a bird in hand is not better than the several in the bush.
I doubt if any of the high achievers you have profiled will clamour for Nigeria's disintegration.
If Nigeria must disintegrate then it must happen naturally and peacefully. Afterall, USSR disintegrated peacefully.
Small boy! Fulani of ilorin No one is calling for war don't shift goal post |

You better choose where you want to belong to before it is too late.If you want to be ruled by a Muslim ruler in Ilorin..one staunch Yoruba Muslim would be made the king without the traditional oba ceremonial rituals some Yoruba obas do.This would be agreed upon.Choose wisely and stop supporting backwardness.Restructuring will not reduce the northern senators and reps who had always voted for the backwardness of Nigeria. im suspecting he is fulani from ilorin or just an ignorant guy |

Very slavish in their mentality. They are free to merge with the rest of the North when this damned country disintegrates for all I care. no o exclude non ilorin yoruba from kwara the yorubas in kogi are not slavish thinking they know they come from ife the ilorin can form state with nupe and continue to lick ass of emir gambari if they are not willing to rescue themselves there is very little we other yoruba subgroups can do |

iblawi: How did you come to those conclusion? 1) He just claimed the entire Kwara and Kogi was lost to north where as only ilorin was lost thanks to alimi and that you lost a region in the past does not mean you cant get it back uk returned hong kong portugal returned macao 2) he said lagos and ogun does not contribute to nigerian royalties, thats one of the biggest lies i have heard in my life adeosun her self just confesses 55% of vat comes from lagos alone 3) i also stated about 15% of population allocated to north and he wrote forget about that one 4) hes also begging other tribes so yoruba can survival which i find not only embarrasing but demeaning the earlier yoruba wakes up and realize southerners are slaves in the nigerian contraption forced to give tributary income to a central govenrment that will distribute more to the north there is no point of yoruba book smartness while we have a great portion of us who lack native ethnic intelligence . |

Their land fell in the north.
Where were you when Afonja sought Alimi's support to secede from Oyo?
Don't fight what you can't change! i think i will start to doubt your yorubaness cause you dont really know history only ilorin was lost to alimi offa, ignomiba and okun, jebba were not lost to alimi and today they make up 70% of both states pls you seem to be hell bent on defending slavery |

They would be Afonjarizing on it....when they become appalled, they say it's no match to their Afonja's accomplishments..
Someone was even asking who is Chioma Ajunwa -,The first Nigerian gold medalist in Olympics..
This people are no match to us...
Tell me any field Afonja is even close to Ndigbo..
Can any woman from Afonja kingdom be compared to Arunma Oteh, Ngozi Okonjo, Oby Ezekwesili, Sandie Okoro or Joy Ogwu?
When it comes to Oil and gas in Africa, Arthur Eze has the largest number of Oil fields and blocks and his companies cover over 10 different countries..
The most powerful woman in Oil and gas in Africa is Uju Ifejika..
Which Area?
Science? Technology? Literature? Sports?
Nollywood?
In fact, Sports have displaced some industries in terms of revenue and profits.
I'm waiting!
In sports alone, it is made in Igbo...
I can list thousands of Sports people of Igbo origin from Texas alone.
We are far ahead.. Still struggling to list your achievment on this thread |

ModsWillKillNL: My point there is that we are not where we used to be. Schools alone don't make a nation. my point is to stop using crumbs and be satisfied with it if we open schools or industries bulk of the profit tax should go to the state like its done i all sane countries not the one that you be saying lets manage it like that our territory needs to be collected back countries are doing that only nigeria is stale hence i say lets pull out enough of living with people who are hell bent on destroying us |

Have you been to ilorin and other major towns in Kwara before?
Have you been to kogi before?
Have you been to Makurdi?
If you have you will withdraw your statement.
In the North Central, North only have strong influence on Plateau, Nasarawa and Niger state. Forget Kwara, Kogi and Benue state. I should forget kwara and kogi that make up 15% of yoruba population i have been to north central kwara govenor attends arewa meeting thats not right same thing with kogi senators they are forced to attend arewa senate meeting |

iblawi: Restructuring is not bad either. We still have more influence in Africa under one Nigeria.
What matters most is that Yorubas are not scared of anything even if we are to continue under the current structure as we are already adapting to it.
We have options thought, we can restructure the current system to give States more power than central government, we can practice a regional government, we can also go our different ways but which ever way it goes the Yorubas are ready. What part of north saying they won't restructure are you finding hard to grasp cause honestly if North said yes wndyour arguing this way I will agree to your postulations |

Can people in slavery achieve that?
Before Nigeria, Yorubas were enmeshed in a civil war, the Kiriji war.
It took British colonisation to bring it to an end. And what makes you think it's Nigeria that's making Yoruba starting business Your referencing war of 10000 years ago |

South Africa is a nation with 50 million+ population but we need to remember that we had a very wrought beginning. Military rule limited our growth and now we are talking of bad leadership. iblawi: Yorubas don't have much to loss if Nigeria split, instead it will speed up development in SW. The only people that would be affected are the South East and the North. The Igbos know this but they feel they can easily oppress the South south to have a better life. Yoruba will be a $500bn economy in 10 years How Igbo no concern me all I know is it will be impossible for them to visit our land Lol |
