OP, yes engine oil can be used in lieu of power steering oil in older cars and nothing will happen, at least in an emergency case. I have experienced it once when I was using EOD, the power steering oil starting leaking from the rack and I was on the high way, I called my mechanic, he said I should not worry, that I should top it up with engine oil, and I had like a litre can in the car, that was what I used till I got to my destination and it also softened the steering.

I don't get your first point. If the refineries in Nigeria was working optimally, Nigerians should be getting Fuel at a cheaper rate. The refineries won't work because of Sabotage, there are people gaining massively from importation of refined fuel. It has been like that Abacha regime.

The populace expected more from this government and while he is being praised in the media, it's because he seems to be one of the best amongst governors who are generally incompetent.

Akwa Ibom earns a lot but the governor spends most of these on vainglorious projects like the International Worship Center, the 21-Storey Smart Skyscraper and others.

He's tried to maintain some of the road projects begun by Akpabio but the projects aren't commensurate with the huge earnings by the state government.

In 2019 alone, Akwa Ibom state government earned about $443 million. For a state of 6 million people, if half was properly utilized, we'd be high up.

When I read these things, it breaks my heart, and I ask myself, will we ever get it right in this country. The Niger Delta for one, would have been like a mini Dubai, if her resources and allocations were managed properly. Look at Bayelsa state, in a sorry state, the last time I was in Asaba/warri, I couldn't believe the state is an oil producing State. So what do they really do with all this monies accrued to them?.

A man i don't knw gave me a lift to Surulere, though i helped in a passed through different checkpoints without difficulty as he was keeping time to his meeting. When i dropped, he asked me how i will get home and i said i will take public bus. He gave me the key to his Corolla Sport and told me to take it home and return it at my own leisure. I swear, i thought it was joke, he insisted. I told it home for real and returned it same day evening. He said he never meant i should return it in rush, i said my mind wasn't at rest, that's why.
