Messi could actually Play El Classico. Am sure that would be his target. Thought it was October 4, but thank God it is November 22. He shouldn't rush, am sure SN will step up with freer role. |

I notice that too. Why do players lose their aggresiveness when they come to Barca? even Rakitic is now soft, i hope Arda proves different though. philfearon: What da Bleep is just wrong with Suarez? |

Sevilla away after Las Palmas. Honestly, if Barca can win this Game and that of Villareal too. We will likely have upperhand for the 2nd half of the season. Athletic bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Celta Vigo, Sevilla, Real Madrid Espanyol Away. Only Villareal, Real Sociedad and Malaga home. |

Cos Toni Kroos plays DM against relatively smaller club means he is now Comparable to people whose task are fully to shield the defence and not to play a role of deep lying playmaker, who enjoys the less pressure in that area of the pitch to spray passes especially Long range passes. I can only agree players like Xabi Alonso and Schweini are DM despite been also a deep lying midfielder. Including Modric of this days, who has been the sacrificial lamb for the sale of Khedira and Xabi Alonso. |

So how old is Pique and who told you he wunt have won european best defender if the award has not been scraped in 2010. Am tired of arguing sef, the dude is busy counting his money and improving his Career profile. |

Nice one abeg tell them. Liverpool, Chelsea and Man utd all won via penalties, which is more about luck. I o acknowledge the Man Utd was contested by both EPL teams, but it wasnt the first time. We have had Juventus Milan, Real Valencia etc philfearon: When you see some posts by some fellas making noise that EPL dominated the UCL,you would think they would at least Win 3 UCL trophies...but,even the ones they won were tru Penalty shootouts! But When Spain dominated EUROPE as a whole, the result is: UCL = 4 EUROPA LEAGUE : 3.. That's what we call dominance! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 6:54pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
is Arbeloa and Alves case the same thing with Terry and Pique. Pique was a starter throughout and a key member of the successful Spanish and Barcelona teams. You guyys hate wunt take that away. FYI his key streghts are : His ability to play the ball excellently out of defence, good at heading the ball and interception as well as reading the game. He is a proactive player, which is why you wunt see him in a situation he would have to do much work. We love him that way and he will definitely catch up with Terry come January for those best XI stuff. Then your lips can be sealed! airmark: EPL could dominate UCL, does that mean all players in EPL were english? Please don't be ridiculous. Abeloa won a world cup but dani alves never won it. I don't need to tell you who has been a better player in RB. Only a f00l will stick to team's title to rate players' superiority. FIFA technical group looks at individual contributions throughout a competition not just if he won title or not. Terry was the only English player named in that team of the tournament, despite crashing out in the knock out stage. That should speak volume to sane minds about his qualities. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 6:24pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
Are you now comparing winning the world cup to been selected in the team of the tournament? This is sounding ridiculous. Dont tell me is a team sport, or wasnt that Era the period when you guys claim EPL dominated UCL airmark: Stop hiding under the collective effort of a team to hype your player. Since world cup is the zenith of international soccer sompetition, tell me the world cup, pique was listed in the team of the tournament? I'm waiting..... |

He was just trying to counter you as you initiated such discussions of performance when players have moved. There are examples to support both sides, so I don't see either wining this argument. ElDeeVee: I'm sure you know Forlan was a reject in EPL and he won pichichi ahead of established strikers like Ronaldo, Eto'o and Mista |

My rejects Fabregas and Pedro are his First choice players. Irony, and he is here telling me about Pique and Vermaelen who we bought for their Technical qualities and not Physicality as they do at his African-esque club. No wonder most of their fans are in africa. raumdeuter: What rigours oo the same riguors that has a La Liga reject as top assist provider
Last season in EPL 3 of the top 5 scorers were ex la Liga, 3 of the top 5 assist were ex La liga
Rigours mortis inded |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 5:26pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
Don't mind them. They are comparing someone who started his career earlier, to another who started later and is almost catching up with him for individual recognition and also miles ahead of Terry in the most important part; Titles! Debroslink: And who says Pique will not equal or surpass Terry in UEFA or FIFA team of the year? The guy is @ his peak, while Terry is on the decline. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 5:24pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
hensben stop picking on when somebody wasn't on form to claim he was exposed. If anyone was exposed it was Spain not Pique. I have seen games including classico were pique was the difference, so stop giving excuse for someones success. I didnt tell you that Terry won the EPL because.. etc. England had world class players too. So don't give us excuse for their inability to lead their country to any success. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 5:17pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
ElDeeVee I don't get your point, we focus on the technical aspect of the game here and not how to act like the O-button on PS2. Everyone knows Vermaelen is a very good defender barring injury. Thats why every team has pattern and the likes You buy player that fits your style. By now you should know there is no style that is better than the other. When used at its best, it could earn the objectives. So never deem Physicality as the best way to measure a players ability. Maldini was never known for physicality. |

Did they all have injury at once? by the way who told you he didnt play some games? This EPL fan, and the so called Rigours. What has the rigours delivered for EPL, if not the patronage of Africans, who mostly share the view of physicality in the game as England. ElDeeVee: So Ferdinand, Vidic and Evans no get injury abi? Truth is Pique couldn't cope with the rigours of EPL |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 5:07pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
Yes he was offloaded to his Canaan Land. A land that Terry dreams of . That has World cup and any title possible. ElDeeVee: Fact remains he was offloaded from man utd, you can put any reason you want.
To answer your question about Terry, he displaced Leboeuf from first team. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by marqueetim(m): 5:03pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
In addition that same 2010 he made FIFPro XI, a season when we didnt really perform to expectation at Barca, so it was for his World Cup performance. Terry was just included for no cogent reason honestly? World CupXI? how come Debroslink: At least, he won the world cup. And he has the chance in 2018.
BTW, Pique was in 2012 UEFA Euro championship team of the tournament. I will see if Terry will win it in 2016.
Oops... He can't win it in his life time. |

Yh lovely idea. That is why I must study my children's interest and potentials from a young age and not wait for them to go to University before realizing their potentials. The world is getting super competitive and there is a paradigm shift to Skill based careers. rastery: Thank you for this particular topic, most time people tend to look at education from the western perspective I.e primary, secondary and tertiary education, meanwhile this aspect is fast fading but not loosing its glory!! So many influential people had to drop out to face their true calling,in my own opinion one should rather look inward and discover him or herself very early in life in order to achieve success, some will say money is not success I agree but whatever gives you fulfilment as a person I consider that as success, the likes of lionel messi, christiano Ronaldo,Neyma I don't think these guys learn how to play football in a classroom,Neither do Bill gates develop his microsoft conglomerate within a university wall, this particular decision of education also has to do with parents, once you observe your Son or Daughter is talented in a field encourage the lad in any way you can and you will see that the sky will be the starting point. |
