Hello my ogas, Good morning!
Please I need a little help, Canada don show me shege. Please I’m looking for schools in the UK that I can apply for their January intake asap! I’ve done a little bit of digging through the thread and I saw University of Hull and Liverpool Hope University. Are there any other nice schools with fees around 13-15k for one year masters. If they have scholarships and waivers that would be great too. Thank you all
check university of Salford, tuition is about 16k with scholarship of up to 3.5k, depending on Ur CGPA

Nigerians girls were using power and muscle to bamboozled the koreans girls, there is absolutely no coordination, the Korean girls are more coordinated with with passes.
If our girls use the same pattern against a precise and coordinated German girls we will loose gallantly.
The only goal our girl score was not aim at goal, it was a pulled out or intended to pass to her team mate but find its way into the net.
Physically our girls are strong and can run for 200hrs without tire. Nowadays strength is not used in football again but sense and logic.
sorry, now days,it's a combination of the 3: SENSE,LOGIC AND STRENGTH(with speed)....that why black players are excelling in Europe

Health / Re: T. G. Omori; The Burden & Complications Of Kidney Failure( A Heartfelt Appeal) by martineverest(m): 8:38am On Aug 30

My Prayers are with TG Omori.

Not just him alone , but also to all that are going through one health issue or another.
It is never easy having health challenges. It diminishes ones quality of life no matter how financially capable the person is.

I have seen what health issues can do to loved ones first hand and I never wish anyone to go through that path. Look at what kidney failure did to the Ekweremadu family. cry

Above all, periodic check up is a huge step to for stalling most of this ailments.

May God heal the sick.
It's not a case of village people; it's about the hospital. I doubt they checked if the kidneys were a match before the transplant.

In the last 20 years, three of my relatives suffered from kidney failure, and only one survived. The survivor lives in Europe, where dialysis and transplants are completely covered by the government. It took him nearly three years to find a matching kidney. The other two, who were in Nigeria, passed away due to the inability to afford dialysis.

Alcohol is more likely to cause liver damage than kidney failure
focus on number 5

Here's a breakdown of how alcohol impacts kidney function:

1. Dehydration:
Diuretic Effect: Alcohol acts as a diuretic, increasing urine production. This can lead to dehydration, as more fluid is lost from the body than is taken in.
Strain on Kidneys: Dehydration makes it harder for the kidneys to perform their essential function of filtering waste from the blood, leading to a concentration of toxins in the body.

2. Disruption of Electrolyte Balance:
Electrolyte Imbalance: Alcohol can alter the balance of electrolytes in the body, such as sodium, potassium, and phosphate, which are vital for kidney function. This imbalance can affect the kidneys' ability to regulate fluids and perform other functions.

3. High Blood Pressure:
Hypertension: Chronic alcohol consumption can raise blood pressure. High blood pressure is a leading cause of kidney damage, as it puts extra strain on the blood vessels in the kidneys, impairing their ability to filter blood properly.

4. Kidney Disease and Failure:
Increased Risk: Long-term alcohol abuse increases the risk of developing chronic kidney disease (CKD). Over time, the cumulative effects of dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, and high blood pressure can lead to kidney damage and potentially to kidney failure.
Exacerbation of Existing Conditions: For those with pre-existing kidney disease, alcohol can worsen their condition, accelerating the decline in kidney function.

5. Impact on the Liver-Kidney Connection:
Liver Disease: Chronic alcohol use can lead to liver disease, such as cirrhosis. Since the liver and kidneys work closely together to filter toxins, liver damage can increase the burden on the kidneys, leading to a higher risk of kidney disease.

6. Increased Risk of Kidney Stones:
Formation of Kidney Stones: Alcohol can lead to dehydration, which is a significant risk factor for the development of kidney stones. The more concentrated urine due to dehydration increases the likelihood of stone formation.

7. Alcohol-Induced Acute Kidney Injury (AKI):
Sudden Kidney Damage: Binge drinking or heavy alcohol consumption in a short period can lead to acute kidney injury (AKI), where the kidneys suddenly lose their ability to filter waste, leading to the buildup of toxins in the body.
