the chasis No is not the problem. You don't compare German cars with American specs. Americans have a database of their cars and here we don't. Its only the Police tht have such in terms of theft.

A friend of mine is moving out of the country for good and wants to sell his 2002 BMW. I don't know much about cars, but have ridden in it several times, and it's a really nice car. It's been used in the UK, and is therefore LHD. Question is : Would it be advisable for him to ship this car to Naija for sale? If so, about how much does a 2002 BMW with no faults cost? (A/C, 10-disc cd changer, power steering/windows/mirrors etc etc) He bought it from a UK bank (it used to be a company car), and mileage isn't very much.

One point of correction, its not a LHD, rather a RHD (Right hand drive). No insults intended. I would personally would have love to buy tht car if it were LHD. We have so much of them here and no one knows how to drive such. Well, wish u good luck
