aurorae1: Oh I get you now. To enter the pool you need the assessment and a language test result. You can't create a profile sans those. Makes sense now. Thanks |

aurorae1: Yeah you can delete a previous profile. Keep in mind that yes, IRCC likely retains old information, so do with that what you will.
But why are you testing the waters to getting an ITA? If you do get one, why not go ahead and submit your application? I got you. Mostly because I'm yet to make up my mind and I'm yet to take the exams or assess my educational credentials |

aurorae1: You can use a new passport when you want to submit your application after ITA... As long as it's yours. People's passports expire, get missing or stolen etc. You don't understand. I'm just testing the waters to see if I will receive an ITA. I am worried that if I put in my passport number, when the application proper starts I might need a new profile. Will I be able to create a new profile to apply with if I attach my passport to this one |

aurorae1: If you're trying to create an Express Entry profile then you're on the right course. This looks like the correct site. If I create one do I have to stick with it through my application. Trying to see if I will get an ITA before I start proper. Will IRCC retain my data. Trying to avoid issues especially since it's asking for my passport number |

Got a recommendation from a reddit site to create a profile to check my chances. Surprised to see it ask for my passport number. Does it retain the number? Has the application started because I'm not ready yet |

Maria345: My brother’s friend where I did internship for one year Then we decided we can use that to say he decided to sponsor my one year school My sop was very good, my access bank statement was very visible to the blind I also stated and proofed the lump sums sent from the company to me Also the school fees was 18,900 cad and I paid in full I don’t know why they said partial payment detected I wrote an email to the school regarding the new admisison letter I got after stating my school fees was 19,900 cad and they said I should discard the information. I now got an email from the same school sending me a final invoice that the school fees is now 19,900 weeks after I’ve submitted my application and IRCC has denied my visa Which school is this? |

abbeylfc: Yes,I will gladly share with you,
First of all, I embarked on this journey with my Agent since 2022, he agreed with my dad that he can get me a working Visa for a good price of which we are suppose to pay him twice, (the opening process and the closing process.)
To cut the long story short, I just had my upfront medicals last week including submission of my police clearance certificate and i sent all this documents to him via WhatsApp.
Prior to that, all the documents my agent has been sending does not look like a legitimate document, they are all fake or probably duplicated docs but, he keeps assuring me blindly that he knows what he's doing. Starting from the offer letter down to UCI and application number, I don't trust whatever he's doing but I just keep following up because he's kind of related to my Dad.
He keeps saying his contact over there in Canada are doing this on purpose just so we don't know the secret to how this is done or so .
Please I need your assistance regards any information you can offer me as this man doesn't seems to agree with me and I don't want them to ruin my other chances with their fake docs and false information.
Any available information will help, I can also share all my docs with you if u need to verify anything.
Please note,, I have done my medicals and I noticed I have gat an IME number already attached to my name while running the medicals,, but I can't find my legitimate UCI number or other details..
Please nairalanders,,I need your help
Thank you.
Regards These are how most agents carry on. Since 2022 is a long time, waiting to hear the feedback you get. |

House34: An international driving license is worthless in Canada for claiming driving experience for a G2 license in Ontario. However, a Nigerian driving license that is over 2 years old, along with a letter from Ottawa, is acceptable. Alternatively, you can try using your driving abstract from Nigeria. Although a friend’s driving abstract was rejected in the GTA, it was accepted in Cornwall, so you might have better luck outside the GTA How do you get a letter from Ottawa? |

rockford: Hello We have various threads on Canada migration here on nairaland but I could not find any that relates to migrating to Canada via a closed work permit. Closed work permits are usually for work permits tied to a particular company, i.e you are getting the work permit only for that role in the specified company. I am currently in the last stage of the process which is awaiting work permit application decision from IRCC.
For me, LMIA was approved February. I applied for closed work permit March 29 2022. Do we have people going through this process? Please share your timelines cc: justwise Hello, I have a unique situation that I crave your indulgence with. Please check your dms |

JMG12: While having funds in your sponsors' accounts (such as your mother and brother) is acceptable, it is crucial to present a clear and credible financial support plan. It's better if a significant portion of the required funds is in your bank account. This demonstrates that you have direct access to the money you need for your studies and living expenses. If your mother and brother are providing financial support, consider transferring the necessary funds to your account before applying. This can reduce any doubts the visa officer might have about the availability and accessibility of the funds. Hello, I have a unique situation that I crave your personal indulgence with. Please check your dms |

Pweety3333: Having an Lmia does not guarantee Visa approval The Validity of Lmia before was 1 year, it has recently been changed I think around April or thereabouts to 6 months Changing employment is possible but hard because the Lmia Jobs is scarce in Canada Sometimes Lmia application can be approved in a Month to 3 months Then you apply for the work permit after Have you submitted your application? Great, thank you for your answers |

What is an LMIA's duration before expiration? How much time does it take from application start (acquiring employment and LMIA then beginning the application process) till visa approval? Can I change employment after arrival? I read here that an Open work permits were for spouses who have SOs who were already in Canada as workers or students, how true is this please? Does acquiring an LMIA guarantee work and eventual visa approval?
I humbly await your answers and contributions. Thanks |
