Nigerians Slams Wigwe's daughter for not standing to greet VP Shettima at her parents' funeral

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsoqQyKrCaE?si=HNpHsi99M2Qr_7Xu

A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.

The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.

He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”

A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.

However, many defended her.
If only she can be wise to manage her father's wealth she is made forever but I doubt if that wealth is pure, mehn three family members dying on same day is a taboo in Igbo culture and family that these type of bad Omen happens to usually visit a good sooth sayer native doctor to know why this calamity happened and how to appease the God's

It's a kind of Ritual. The idea is money will be given to you but a chicken will be set free surrounded with pieces of corn. Each corn the chicken eats stands for 1yr extra of your life. I also think the powers can take extra members of your family when it's time to pay up depending on what you wanted
Does that really exist, I mean money ritual like you explained?

Nairaland / General / Re: Why You Should Share Less About Yourself With Others by MartinsD12(m): 8:21am On Mar 04
coputa:

1. The less you share, the less people will be in your personal life.

2. You'll slowly stop caring about people's opinion on you.

3. You won't have to seek validation to do what feels right for you.

4. If everyone is your friend, you've a problem. You can't trust anyone with personal information.

5. You'll attract peace into your life. You'll experience less drama, toxic energy and more time alone.

6. The real flex is being private, staying low-key and telling no one about your life.

7. It'll be 10x easier to walk some paths alone to achieve your personal goals.

8. Privacy teaches you independence and how to connect with people on a deeper level.

9. Everyone leaves. You'll learn how to be alone and not feel lonely.

10. When you build in silence, people won't know what to attack.

11. People will want to know more about you when you talk less about yourself.

12. People don't care so much about you. They only care on what you can offer.
Very interesting piece, safe guard yourself jealously and meticulously, everything you do in this life should be known to you and only you , some people in this life will go extra length to stop that dream or plan of yours the moment you share it , the great Oriental Brothers International Band sang in one of there epic life teaching lesson song onyeoma madu n' eji egbuya meaning na who know man dey kill am or in simple English the enemy is your friend, a stranger who doesn't know you can't do you anything it's always does your friends you share your secret with , guide your life jealously, I don talk my own, people don't like people, people hate for no reason, kill for no reason , envy everywhere.

Sometimes he cooks and at other times he buys food!

As soon as he collects money he buys foodstuffs and cooking gas!
I understand that already 30k is not even enough with the price of food stuffs even the cooking gas will be filled up, the only thing here is buying food in bulk that's it and with the other cuts he gets that's how he survives it takes lots of discipline, we are not even talking of health expenses, if it's someone that has a good phone data alone can cost 5k or more

I'm at a crossroad towards making a decision of either staying back or moving to PH.

I've jst been transferred, bt the truth is, where I'm currently at, my 60k salary is well manageable.

Though, I dont have problems adapting to most of the cities I've been to, and will also love to move down there. But owning to the present economic situation, is it worth I move ? Is it a trap ?.

Aside accommodation which my company has, Can I take care of myself in PH with my 60k allawee ?

PH based please, I need ur opinions, as I still have option to decline, as such, your views will be of much help at this time.
It's sad knowing 60k can't do anything but far more terrible knowing there are people who collect 30k as salary even 20k what of those that are not working how do they survive
