To be honest, NLS is CRAZYYY, you just have to do what works for you.

-Stick to the reading pattern you've been doing all these while.
-Don't feel intimidated by others reading for 6/12hrs. Nor go kill yourself. Till date, I don't know the interiors of NLS Abuja library. I have seen a glimpse of it when my friend snapped inside. I NEVER WENT/USED THE LIBRARY. I read from the comfort of my bed, did group discussions with my friends (As you've read in my NLS diary, I created a Whatsapp group with my friends in all campus and we discussed ideas and topics).

-Have a social life outside Law School. Go out with friends, party, have sex, eat and read and YOU WILL BE FINE.

Law School can be depressing in all honesty but you have to make it count by being intentional with what you want.

PS: I actively took my reading in Law School seriously one/two weeks to Bar finals.
(If you're not a super human being like myself, I would not advice you to try this at home. )

- Externship is for cruise. Use it to read. The externship logbooks don't add ANY MARK to your result. You'd be given back.
Enjoy your externship as well.

-Focus on your health. The stress of Law School is something else. You might get noticeably darker from the stress of the program. Please take fruits regularly, you can also invest and buy supplements to keep you sharp. Treat yourself from malaria. Sickness in Bar finals is not funny.

- If you can, take walks regularly. In Law School, I and my friends walked early mornings and evenings round the campus. At some point, I did boxing as well. I needed to channel my anger into something.

You need to be mentally and physically fit.

-PRAY. You CANNOT do it on your own. Anything can happen.

Do what works for you, I repeat.

Hmmmm rent for 3months? That would be expensive actually. I remember a friend did that but it was super expensive cos of the duration.

It will be cheaper to rent an apartment around Bwari axis though (close to NLS Abuja campus).

It is normal for students to rent apartments during externship period and close to school.

Would it be advisable to rent an acoomodation for the three months extern ship because where I was planing on staying done dey get k leg, I just confuse. And secondly can I see where to rent for three months in Abuja?

Lol, Pele. That's the problem with Northern Nigeria, the weather is either extremely hot or cold.

You know that Bagauda Lake is VERY CLOSE to Kano campus, so you'd experience much cold later in the year and enjoy it or you'd freeze (if cold isn't really your thing).

Yes. They usually boil water in pots for NLS Kano students. I heard their meals aren't great too.

Hahahahaha. Na you been dey disturb me then about Abuja posting and when time reach, you come back out. Lol I just dey laugh that time because Law School posting is very dicey. If you nor get strong connections, nor put body. I actually did for 5 people and all worked. No Kano, just Abuja, Lagos and Portharcourt postings.

If you want to do externship in Abuja, that's not a problem actually. Just fill out Abuja in the externship forms they'd give you.

Its well. Kano is becoming hot gradually but when I entered it was freaking cold!! They were boiling hot water in big pots for us. I want to do my extenship in Abuja oo, the only time I didn't listen to you na Kano I see my self so I am open to advice🙏🙏
