If you want to be safe avoid these: 1. Mega churches (they carry everything and are more interested in quantity rather than quality) 2. Avoid places with contention, gossip, (that is a sign that the person at the top is just like that) 3. Avoid places with emphasis on stories of satanism, demons talking through people of their exploits, and ridiculous concepts like mummy water and spiritual husbands. They are all made up, stage performed to create vanity. 4.The power of God is gentle so that is the quality you look for in a church. Too much drama comes from pride and vain indulgences which brings spiritual bondage. That's how they shut off heaven for the sheep they claim to feed.

etidy: Lol no one can raise the dead, it's God at work in us that does it, Without him we can do nothing. Any child of God can raise the dead by the empowerment of God in him or her, It's nothing special. I don't see how the issue of raising the dead is relevant to your faith, what you need now is the word of God. The Bible says as new born babes desire the sincere milk of the Word (1 Peter 2:2) It's the word of God that will grow you. Get a Bible and start reading from Matthew OR John and pray for God to lead you to the church he wants you to be, that's all. Leave the issue of dead or alive and pastor Adeboye lol. God's grace will keep you.

etidy: First of all, pastor Adeboye has no affiliation with celestial church, it was the original founder of rccg, pa Adejare that was called out of Cele when the church was going astray (same thing I have been saying all day, people seeking supernatural manifestation but don't give room to sound doctrine, I pray we won't fall into such). Back then pastor Adeboye was not even born again, he joined RCCG many years after the church had started and GOD choose him to carry on the mandate. Number 2, even if I don't attend RCCG, I respect the dimension of anointing he carries, he's a once in a generation God's general, I have had clear supernatural encounters where God was pointing clearly to me to draw virtue from him, he's also a deep teacher of the word from the little of his books and messages I have listened to. Number 3. One trickery of the devil is that he's always out to disconnect you from the God ordained pastor or prophet sent to you. In Jer 3:15 God said I will ordained unto you pastors after my own heart. Every believer has a God ordained teacher sent to them, you can't choose, you only discover who that person is, if you miss it, you will miss out big time. Most time the devil will always rubbish that person before you and if care is not taken you may miss it. The Devil did it to me for yrs, before God illuminated me. Pray and ask for direction, I believe There is a word for you in the mouth of pastor Adeboye that the devil doesn't want you to connect with. Good day

I came out of the celestial church. While there it was widely discussed that Adeboye is one of them, and if you know the Celestial Church well it's nothing but witchcraft.
Again people I know to be well connected have said openly to me that Adeboye is a Freemason.
If anybody can shed any light it will be appreciated, as I personally suspect that Adeboye is leading many astray! So I am trying to establish the truth and facts.
4everGod: If your focus is where men of God say they raise and the dead and other things like that and not on Jesus the head of the church then you would easily be led astray.
The WORD of God is all you need. Men can speak but the WORD must confirm it so ultimately the WORD is all you need. Walk with God, let His spirit guide and lead you, fellowship with the brethren, Guard your heart, flee from all appearance of evil and you will do just fine.

As a "baby christian" (Which am beginning to doubt) shouldn't u be concerned with what Christ teaches? What do you think it takes to raise the dead anyways? Two months ago, an 8years old girl was raised From the death, not by Adeboye, but by a far younger Pastor by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who raises the death, not man.

This section was not created for us Christians to share our faith, it was created to turn Christians against God and turn us to atheists. If you love your Christ, I will advice you to stay away from this forum. The main target is u the young and baby Christians, it is to harassed you and push you to doubt your God, plant uncertainties in your heart, then toss of your faith and be like them.
