We need to ask these questions. Why is it that inseqeurity becomes escalated anytime a southern president is there. Why is it that the northerners are not always comfortable anytime we have a southern president.

I understand bro and I agree with you. I am also in support of the withdrawal of police from the Vips to help secure the country. What has he done or achieved as a senator since 2011? His state remains the most dangerous state in Nigeria today and he held on to power since 2011 without doing much to end the insurgency or allow someone else to take that mantle. This is different oga. Previous directives is always from the IGPs and most times when the VIPs put pressure on the IGPs, they bend and such implementation isn't weighty but in this case, this is the first time when a presidential directive is issued for such withdrawal and the IGP is mandated to carry out the instruction. So if any VIP wants a police protection, they should go and get approval from the president which is almost impossible. In truth, some people will still get police protection but it will be very limited in this situation.

There is nothing southern for now as long as there is war between the major indigenous people in the south. I mean the Igbos and the Yoruba.

A united south is nearly impossible in my opinion. It will take a miracle performed by men for that to happen. But men chooses to win than to save. Expect no miracle.

A divided north will bring everyone together for discussion. Unfortunately, the north is comfortable. They can instigate a hungry northerner to blame his hunger on the southerner without questioning how.
