A man identified as Mayowa Joshua Amusan shares a bit of his success story after he bagged a first-class degree, despite having parallel F9 in NECO.

Taking to LinkedIn, he opened up to have written WASSCE three times before he finally cleared his papers.
However, due to hard work and commitment, the man successfully bagged a first-class degree in Agricultural Economics and stood out as the best graduating student in his department.

A 32-year-old drug trafficker based in Liberia, Maduabuchi Chinedu, has been arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, NAIA, Abuja by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with 9.30 kilograms of cocaine worth over N2.7billion in street value.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi, Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and Cheslea’s Jorginho are among the notable names shortlisted by FIFA for the 2021 Men Best Player award.


FIFA also announced candidates for Puskas, Men’s Best Coach, goalkeepers and among other awards in a post via its website on Monday.

Public voting for the winners ends on December 10, 2021.

FIFA will announce the winners of all the various awards on January 17, 2021, and it will be streamlined live on its website.

However, the shortlist with the nominees for the FIFA Puskás Award (awarded for
the best goal) will be announced at a later stage.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has arrested a Brazil-based man, Okafor Okwudili Moses, for the 2.55 kilogrammes of cocaine recovered from the Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja Lagos.
The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, said the drug was discovered in a toilet at the E-Arrival hall of the airport on Friday, November 12.

Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has revealed that he didn’t sign for Tottenham earlier in his career because Spurs ‘never called back’.

Aubameyang explained he was close to signing for Tottenham only for the Premier League club to go cold over the transfer.

The Gabonese striker joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2018 for a fee of around £58 million.
