The Igbos are know to be peaceful and happy people, they may have laughed over it there in the oba's palace to maintain calmness but within
they were not happy with his statement. They Igbo leaders are not fools hence they would have come all out as a group to defend the oba

Remember, no king joks with his pronouncement in the public, not to the extent of swearing, that is why king harold could not go back on the promise he made that led to the death of John the Baptist. If the oba can not retreat his statement, means that it holds unless Ambode wins the election, that is the truth.

So I would say he scammed himself, he deceived himself by running to the south west bribing kings for endorsements as if the masses don't know what they really want.


He has successfully created a divide along tribal, religious and ethnic line all around the country and it will take a massive national reorientation to restore our national unity.

I will not pat him at the back for conceding defeat cos he already knew what awaits him if he acted on the contrary. He was part of the crew that ousted Gbagbo and he is fully aware of the watchful eyes of the ICC and instead of spending the rest of his life in jail like Gbagbo, he chose to return to Otueke to enjoy his loot in peace.

Gej should have won this elections easily if he had the interest of the masses at heart. He will forever live with the stigma of the first incumbent president to be ousted in Nigeria.[/b][/quote

Is Goodluck a good president? Yes! but he is a very weak man. Very weak to run a tough black nation.
He developed a thick skin though and yes his achievement so far is laudable.
The only thing he did for me is that he conducted a free and fair election. He hasn't really achieved any other feat in Nigeria. As for me.

I do not also see any point in people saying "first to comment". Doesn't make sense to me at all.

I had listen to a radio program " brekete family" where the hosts of d show went down to his house to interview him.he had lost hope in the system,and his only dream was for him to get a house within the perimeter of the state secretariat.As he lamented,it brought bk good old memories of yesterday to him.This even his constituency senator or rep member could hv done,talk more the d governor of the state,past and present.

dianausua: I had been improving myself all along without even knowing. I started reading books from my ss1. I borrowed and bought books i knew would add value to me, reading and taking action. In my family we all know how to draw so i channelled mine to fashion sketching. I sketched every new idea i had into a book. Also i admired musicians and presenters. I mimicked them alot. I would use my dad's laptop to brouse, write out and practice every useful informatn on singing and presenting. Used my elder brother's phone too to get informatns, till i got mine. Everymorning i would make a to do list on this areas of interest then i would make sure i accomplish each one of them. I continued learning, practicng, exploring new ideas and reading. I got admission into the university but still made out time for my talents. I used my strike period wisely to learn how to sew. I am a graduate waiting for service, but working as a fashion illustrator and designer in a fashion company, i have over 700 drawn designs and more in my head. I Have the singing voice i always wanted. Am not workin in a radio or tv statn but i speak fluently as a presenter. My talents and abilities would have been dormant and i would have been ignorant of them,but because of reading books i have discovered them. I believe i have added value to myself and i am still adding value to myself everyday because where i plan to be in future can only be achieved by hardwork, discipline and persistance.
