Japan did worse than this to the US years back, but the response was what ended the WAR!!! The weapons of war available to Japan at that time, Iran does not have it now and just a response from uncle SAM, Japan surrendered. I believe too much diplomacy and bureaucracies from the US senate and concerns from civilian lives in Iran (unlike Iran and Russia who don't value human lives) is delaying responses. I imagine what will have happen to Iran by now if Trump was a sole decider!!!
