Nnamdi Kanu has been in detention for over three years, he is more popular amongst his people than ever, and things are much worse than before he was detained. So what was the point?

The self styled 'Prime Minister' of the Biafran government, Simon Ekpa has reportedly been arrested. Good for him that it was in a serious country like Finland with rule of law, unlike Nigeria. He will get his day in court where he is certain to get a fair hearing, and the courts will decide his fate

But what surprises me about all this is that those who hail Ekpa's arrest failed to learn from Nnamdi Kanu's arrest. The arrest will solve nothing. Taking out the leader of a movement, is not same as taking out the movement its self.

To take out the movement, you have to address the underlying issues that brought about the movement. Otherwise, all you are doing is effecting leadership change while the issue remains the same, if not made worse.

Go and rest dude, it's your type that incite violence in the south East from other regions or outside the country.

I believe the arrest of ekpa will calm the chinedo, okoro and Emeka. Other regions in the country need to start a cold war with the Igbos, what others don't benefit from their region, you deny them same in your region, enough of this big brother role other regions play. Do you know that their are some villages in the south East that if you are not Igbo you can't enter, if you do that will be your last day on earth.

I have stay in the east for 2 years, and I can categorically say that the south east is no longer part of Nigeria, the only thing that connects them to Nigeria is the use of the Naira note, they don't observe Nigeria public holiday, schools in the south east hardly recite the Nigeria anthem. The south east is already a country on its own. Nigeria needs to start evaluating key asset in the east and start deporting igbos back home, all their senators and minister should be sent back home as they are no longer part of Nigeria and allow them to have Biafra, let kanu and ekpa sort it out in the east.

Southeast is practically a different nation from the rest of Nigeria but me and you are not ready for this discussion today. The thing is, you are not staying close to the east so you wouldn't understand that those guys have thoroughly created their own country different from yours
