TWO HUNDRED YEARS LATER
King Nehad,the ruler of the world's most powerful kingdom,Naratha was celebrating his fortieth year on the throne. Entertainers,magicians,dancers and singers from all over Europe and Asia came to perform. Royals all over the world,from Greece to Bu Yeo to Ethiopia all attended too. Narathan Kingdom was so vast that it occupied almost half of Europe,thanks to Nehad's wars of conquer in his days as a prince and earliest days as a young king. He was fierce,intelligent,strict,confident and active. He believed in war as a tool of revolution. He was a great king who had a perfectly-established government syestem. He had The King's Law-Men,who acted as what we call the police now,he also had The King's Court which was the judiciray,he also established The Law-Creators who made the laws guiding Naratha. He was the first military tactian to make use of spies for war. He had spies working either in the army or the palace of every kingdom in Europe. One of his spies even married the king of Persia. He had two sons and one daughter. The Crown Prince,Golmoth was strong,aggresive,war-hardened,stubborn, brave,skilled in all forms of combat,fiery-tempered and determined,just like his father and his younger brother Prince Thradius was passive,gentle,easily-convinced,skilled in swordsmanship,strong,fearless a drunkard and a fun-loving womanizer. The youngest,the beautiful Princess Essienath who many people had fallen in love with,kings,princes and even Narathan soldiers,is wise, gentle,soft-spoken,kind-hearted,peaceful,mild and calm. Unfortunately,their mother died a year after Essienath's birth when she was attending the birthday ceremony of the Queen of Camelot twenty-three years ago. On their way,Athenian mercenaries attacked her and the troops and she was kidnapped. Her head was sent to King Nehad as a warning. Then,a rumour had been going on that he planned to take over Athens,which was untrue. Bitter,he unleashed his army,headed by the historic General Knedly(if you lived in this alternative universe, you would definitely recougnise his name. You would have learnt about him in history) who led them to annihilate every member of the Athenian royal family and then conquered the whole city. Nehad then decided to destroy the city,in his rage but his foremost adviser,the great wizard,Linnae convinced him to do otherwise because it would only lead to more chaos and a stain on his wife's memory. Every king that had ever lived in Naratha always had a wizard as his foremost adviser since wizards were wiser than the average man. Linnae,the 203-year-old sorcerer had served three kings already in his lifetime with Nehad being the fourth. Linnae had many achievements prior to the events which were about to occur. He had battled two dragons which gave him the hideous scar on his face,which cuts from the side of his left eye through his nose to the right tip of his lips. He had grey hair and always wore his famous red robe all around,carrying his walking staff which also had magic of its own. Linnae also battled mermaids,possessed unicorns and other wizards. But within all those years he had lived,no one ever mentioned the Aces Of The Realms which had now been forgotten and relegated to mere myth which can be found in sacred Magic Books. Even Pith was never found.

The ceremony was colourful,as always. The entertainment was overwhelming. Representatives from each towns and conquered cities paid their respects to the king. Prince Golmoth had welcomed all the esteemed royal guests into the palace as was his duty as Crown Prince to perform certain kingly duties in preparation for the throne which he would ascend someday. He was happy to accept all visitors except a rather disturbing guest,Prince Couldane,the heir to the throne of the Maedean Kingdom. It was the only kingdom that could rival Naratha in terms of military prowess and cultural and territorial might. There had been bad blood between both kingdoms since a century ago when a princess of Maedea ran awy from her home to marry a Narathan prince. War had been threatened but it never broke but the world knew that if the two biggest kingdoms in the world battled,there would be real trouble. Both kingdoms had a very uneasy tension between them which they mutually attempted to hide. Prrince Golmoth and Prince Couldane secretly hated each other but never showed it. Both kingdoms acted friendly but were already sworn-enemies. So,Couldane's visit was a serious cause for alarm. Golmoth placed six gaurds on him. They were to secretly watch his actions until the next day when he would leave.
That night,when all the guests had been escorted to their rooms,Golmoth asked the gaurds to tighten their watch on him. An hour later,all the gaurds slept off and Couldane walked out with a cloak covering him. He rushed outside the palace,unseen by anyone except Golmoth who had been practising a new combat technique with General Knedly outside the palace walls. They both secretly followed the mysterious person,who they hadn't yet identified. Then they saw the man walk into the city tavern and they followed him. In order to draw no attention to themselves they also took up cloaks which they had found hanging on the wire in front of an old house and disguised themselves. They followed the man who then walked to the bar-keeper,fat old Frantierre,the French slave who had escaped from Maedea years ago to start a new life in Naratha. The mysterious man then whispered something into Frantierre's ear which made him look stunned. Then he signalled to him to follow him as they walked into a small chamber in the tavern. Golmoth and Knedly followed but three men tried to stop them and they beat the men up. When Golmoth got to the room,no one was there. It was strange indeed,since no one had walked out since they saw Frantierre and the mysterious man go in. Then he noticed a spinning chair which he stopped with his hand. He sat on it and wondered why it had been spinning. Shortly after,it began spinning again and he disappeared before Knedly could still the chair. Knedly also sat on it and the same happened to him. They both landed in a very big room with gold all over the ground. There were so many gold coins that one could not see the ground but had to walk on the pieces of gold. Bright lights came in from every corner of the room.
'What in the name of my father is this place?' Golomoth quietly exclaimed.
'I've never seen a place like this' Knedly chuckled 'I've been to virtually every corner of this city and I did not even know that chamber existed, let alone this......gold-plated room.'
As they walked further,they could see Frantierre now and Couldane,the cloak removed from his head.
'What!' Shouted Golmoth 'Those damned guards! They let him out!' Knedly covered his mouth.
'Shhh. Let's hear what they are saying.'
They kept shut and listened quietly.
'My father is getting impatient,when will we be able to strike?' asked Couldane 'The king wants to know.'
Frantierre angrily said 'I need more gold.'
'You foolish goblin! We have sent you more than enough in the past five years,how is that not enough? This kingdom must fall as soon as possible.'
'Give me a thousand more pieces of gold and it will be done.' he said.
'I'd rather drink a witch's blood than give you anymore.' A witch's blood is very poisonous to anyone who drinks it. It causes malady and madness and in severe cases,death.
'Speaking of drinks,let me offer you wine.' Frantierre said wittly.
'So that you can put me under your curse too?' Couldane laughed. 'And what about Essienath?'
'She has tasted it before when her brother Golmoth challenged her to drink my wine years ago. You can have her.' Golmoth furiously drew out his sword and attacked them. Frantierre immediately changed to his true magical goblin state and escaped. Couldane was powerless without his sword,he was about to be killed when Knedly held Gomoth's sword and told him to leave him for the king. They found their way back to the palace where the entire palace was alarmed of the event. Couldane was interrigated but refused to reveal anymore secrets. Then Linnae put his magical skills to work and the poor prince began to spit out the words. He told them how Madea had been planning a war for decades with Naratha. Their big move was to find the cunny and wise goblin Qwantain to go to Naratha in human form as Frantierre,a slave who escaped. With his magic,he was able to draw all Narathans to his tarvern to drink,even the king. Linnae had initially sensed something fishy but after also drinking from the bar,he forgot all about it. The drinks were made with magical goblin oil which would put whoever drank them under the goblin's command. The plan was to pay Frantierre handsomely and then make him transfer his command over the people of Naratha to the Maedean king and his son Prince Couldane through the Order-Descent Spell. But as Frantierre grew greedier,instead of sending messengers to him,Couldane decided to go by himself to talk some sense into the goblin. He also revealed that the princess who ran away from Maedea had nothing to do with it but the fact that Naratha had outgrown Maedea and could take over them soon.
Nehad,worried over the goblin's escape,ordered all his soldiers and sorcerers in the kingdom to search for Frantierre but was never found. Afraid that Frantierre might have been on the verge of transferring command to the Maedeans,he asked Maedea to give up the goblin in exchange for Couldnae but he got no response from the King of Maedea and then war broke out between both kingdoms. The world was in turmoil. The war went on for three years and a half,during which Couldane escaped to Maedea. The Narathans came out victorious and all returned home,except Golmoth whose body was never found.

'What have you done,my dear Peta' asked Hogum.
'What you taught me. I searched for knowledge beyond the surface of magic. Now I know all the diamond can do.' He said,grinning 'I can absorb anyone's magic with it and I can finally gain immortality by casting a spell that requires a human blood, a Gourac blood and a dragon's blood. Pith here happens to be the only dragon I've seen in years.'
'Give that to me!' Hogum cried out, 'Dimplufy!' then the wind threw the diamond out of Peta's hand into Hogum's. 'I thought you were destined for great things. Your father,were he alive,would be ashamed.'
'You're right,' he said bringing out his Elix sword I'm destined for great things!' He ran towards Hogum and The Haikker attacked him. He held his own for long until they overpowered him and Hogum begged them not to kill him. Pith disagreed and insisted that searching for immortality is against the law of nature and as Pith was about to burn him. Hundreds of Gouracs flooded the cave and a mighty battle began. Hogum's earlier-sustained wounds affected him so much that a Gourac easily struck his blade into his side waist and he fell to the ground,weak. The Gourac was about to swallow Hogum when Peta rose up and cut off the Gourac's head. Hogum,thinking Peta did that to save him.told Peta 'thank you'. But Peta then drew put the Gouracs's blade from Hogum's waist and put a drop of his blood into a goblet he had been secretly carrying. Hogum then died in agony. Peta also took a drop of the dead Gourac's blood and put it in his goblet. He took the diamond and was chased by Pith who angrily burnt most of the Gouracs. Pith had planned the encounter weeks ago. He alerted the Gouracs of the plan to travel with The Haikker to meet Pith so as to create a scenario where the blood of a Gourac,Hogum and Pith will be available for him at once. He battled Pith who fought him so strongly that his lower lims where numb. Pith managed to get the diamond and then burnt it. All the Gouracs,who had already killed the entire Haikker except one,vanished into thin air. But this also led to the diamond being divided into three rather than being destroyed. Before he could die,Peta managed to pierce Pith's skin and then got his blood on his sword. With all the three diamonds in his possession,he commanded Pith to do his bidding. That night,he cast the Immortality Spell and then he became invincible. He became The King Of The Aces,which in the Sorcerer-Tongue,means De Noligar Serus. He ruled every continent in the world and made people bow to him. But after a few years,Ra Galoone,the only surviving Haikker sorcerer,resurfaced, battled him and though he was killed,Ra was able to hide one of the diamonds where no one could ever find them. De Noligar Serus' reliance on the diamonds affected his spell,so if the three diamonds stay too far away for long,he would die,until they are re-united to be ressurected. After three years,Serus couldn't find the third diamond,so he died and was buried by Pith who was thus freed. But Serus was not the dumb type. He had a plan. The King Of The Aces always had a plan.

Thousands of years ago,the world's foremost and most famous sorcerer,Hagum had ten teenage apprentices (The Haikker) who he was training to help fight the evil which was to come in the near future. After training them enough to fight battles,he knew they were ready to fight the forces of evil. A group of half men,half-beasts(The Gouracs) were the threats then. They aimed to control the world. So,Hagum sent out The Haikker to fight them. The Haikker conquered most of the Gouracs,their fame and legend spread across the world as the fiercest magician-army. The battle went on for about three years without the Gouracs all dying. Then Hagum realised that as one Gourac dies,he is reborn somewhere,due to this,the only way to end their entire existence is to find the Ace Of The Realms,a very beautiful and shiny diamond which was rumoured to have been buried within the deepest corners of the world. The Haikker found it after ten years of searching. Hagum was already 103 years old and getting weaker. So,he told his grandson Peta(who history now knows as Noligar Serus),who was also one of the apprentices that if anything happened to him,he should take command of The Haikker. After finding the Ace Of The Realms,Hagum and The Haikker had to travel to a far away land in what is now known as Canada today. It was the home of the Great Dragon,Pith. Only the fire from his breath was strong enough to destroy The Ace Of The Realms. After travelling for four days,they were almost there. They only had to go through the Sea to reach the cave were The Great Dragon Pith slept peacefully. While on the boat,Gouracs attacked them. The battle was so fierce that even Hagum got wounded. They managed to escape the Gouracs and reached the cave. unknown to them was that so many Gouracs were waiting in the cave. When they reached there,it was another attack. The 11-feet-tall Gouracs were almost successful in killing the entire Haikker and Hogum until the old man cast one of his most powerful spells 'Gritto Neena Darrrkat!' And the Gouracs froze,but it could only last for a few mintutes. So they all rushed to meet Pith who was alarmed to see them and he immediately attacked,killing one of The Haikker. Hogum pleaded with him to be calm and revealed himself as 'your old friend,Hogum who saved you from death a few years ago'. Pith then apologised for killing a Haikker but Peta(Hogum's grandson) 'angrily' attacked Pith for 'killing his one true friend' but Hogum stopped him by throwing him back with the wind. Hogum begged Pith to help destroy the Ace Of The Realms which he attempted to bring out of his bag but was shocked to see that it was missing. The Haikker began to groan in despair. They assumed that it must have been lost in the battle at The Sea but Hogum insisted that he felt its power when Pith attacked them. Then he looked straight at Peta who brought out the diamond 'Looking for this? It's mine now!'
