Unigrad:Someone who failed woefully for that matter. I believe Tinubu was happy to see him resign. He certainly was looking for a way to get rid of him all along. A national disgrace vying for governorship? Chai! ![]() |
erico2k2:That guy is very ignorant. He doesn't know the staggering number of Chinese and Indians living and working in Africa illegally. Alas! Their skin is white, therefore they can do no wrong! ![]() |
Only Osinbajo can give us anything close to good governance at this time. He is decisive and thorough. He has grasp of so many things. I will never forget his famous two weeks of presidential leadership. In the case of Obi, I am unsure of his intentions and capacity to govern this country. He has no special sterling records from his Anambra days. He also lacks national appeal. He behaves like an upgraded Kwankwanso. Always rushing to defend Igbo sentiments especially in Lagos. Never expect the Yorubas who voted for him in 2023 to do same in 2027. We thought Buhari was bad, but here is Tinubu being indescribably horrible. Obi? I am not sure what to expect from his presidency. In an effort to fight corruption, he can choose to tighten the financial system to the death of many businesses and income sources just like what Emiefele did in his final days in office. Look at how Trump is screwing the US and the global economies up and down all in the name of resetting economic relations as well as cutting waste. This is what happens when an outsider gains political power, and thinks that everyone and everything about the establishment is bad. |
How they could market him to voters was why they outplayed him. Opposition parties could easily have campaigned against that darkness minister. He should go home and enjoy his cookies. ![]() |
Javid13:Simple fact. Daddy saved his ass. Wike and his errand legislators had been roasted until Tinubu put hand and mouth inside the matter. ![]() Chinda, if he becomes governor, will not roll on the floor for Wike forever. He will tolerate Wike through his first tenure, having learnt from Fubara's political blunder. He fought too early. |
Hedonisco:Full presidential power saved Wike from being demystified and disgraced by Fubara. No godfather can box a governor without unrestrained, unlawful deployment of full presidential might. |
Desmond, you are digging yourself into a political pit. Rest nau, bro. Someone was forced to step down for you. You nor wan step down for another person? Rest nau! ![]() |
Just look at what Abure has reduced a once vibrant political party to. Destroyer! ![]() |
Wait o, in which of the PDP is Jonathan contesting from? Wike's or Makinde's? ![]() |
He doesn't have the grassroots support to pull any surprises. Dude should quietly step aside to avoid a biting disgrace in the end. |
occfx:Amotekun went with Akeredolu, sadly. ![]() |
Excellent93:Guy! ![]() |
Them go still fight last last. Wike is only appointing a new adversary. ![]() |
Akalia:You are a bigger embarrassment for saying Jonathan performed abysmally. Put him side by side Tinubu and Buhari's horrible administrations, then we can discuss. |
When men lift you, men can still pull you down. When men lift you, ensure you don't go against the interests of those men, especially openly. Desmond went against the interests of his backers. He is having to pay a heavy price. |
Reference:Mainstream Islam is the fuel that fans this flame. You cannot detach a virus from a virus. |
RollinTNDA:He will make his security plans and strategies public if only he was foolish. We are dealing with an institutionalized issue here. The North will campaign against any southerner who publicly states his security plans for the North. Obi knows what to do. Even Tinubu knows what to do. But he prefers to save it for second term. Or you don't know that Jonathan lost because of the heightened military campaign against Northern goons close to the general elections? |
Ha! Tinubu is busy making Buhari look like a saint. |
Authoreety:He cannot stop it even if he won. You don't know how complex this shit it. It has both tribal and religious undertones. Any leader from the south, who attempts to stand in their way, will pay a heavy price. You think Nigeria is one country? There is a reason Tinubu doesn't care anymore. He was properly advised to steer clear. Let every state defend its territorial integrity. |
Naira or dollars? If it is Naira, take that question to teenagers who are still being fed at home. Any mention of thousand now has to be dollars for it to change something in the life of a Nigerian adult. ![]() |
TheStoriesOfMan:That's why I don't work myself up over Nigerian issues. Chill, chop and chill. ![]() |
Nwaokunkpara:Is anything illegal in Nigeria? Legality is based on personality status here. When Buhari and Emiefele attempted to render many personal home vaults useless through change of notes, didn't you see how they fought back viciously? Many banks do not hold what some individuals keep in their houses in this country. Una nor know where una dey. See, just enjoy your life in this country and rest. ![]() |
iwaeda:Of which country? Atiku will not rule this country. Unfortunately, greedy praise singers and fake diviners won't let his pocket rest. |
You this boy again? Israel and the US have completely wrecked your mental health. Try and heal nau! |
Yemmysworld91:Too late. What attempts did he make to physically reach Gbaja all this while? He is only apologizing now because he has been publicly replaced. Maybe Sanwolu was his backer. In politics if you do not have your own footing or structure, just continue to do boy boy in order to retain your relevance. Mr Desmond, it is too late. Port to another party if you are sure of your political stranglehold on your constituency. Otherwise, walk away quietly make them nor disgrace you and still use EFCC tear your shirt. ![]() |
fmlala:Best option? You must be joking. Move round the streets and see how many lives and small businesses are being ruined by this harmful environment. Unless you have something tangible going for you here, I advise you get out as fast as you can!!!!! Nigeria buries many fantastic dreams every day. |
Kadejo:You think such factories are owned by commoners? Do you know how much they remit in taxes? Government will trade your well-being for these factories to stay in business. Welcome to the industrial world. ![]() |
Sermwell:Ok. |
Desmond overshot his influence. Without Gbaja, Desmond was and is an irrelevant name in his constituency. Common sense should have taught him to stay out of political ruffles in the assembly. But dude thought he had come of age. ![]() Make him gather wetin him for gather go start business. It's over! ![]() |
seunmsg:So that Wike can begin another round of stalling governance using those errand assembly boys? How wicked can you guys be? ![]() |
Nowhere is heaven. Stay where you can live a good life. Men are balling in the same America. Men are balling in this same Nigeria that others call shit hole. Find where your ball is and score your goals. |
ALLNIGERIANSMAD:Whichever way, he will still lose. He is not popular amongst his constituents. Why? His representation has been mediocre and empty. All this while, he hid under Gbaja's sterling achievements to hold on to that position. Unfortunately Gbaja doesn't fancy him anymore. Dude cannot win without endorsement because he has nothing to campaign with. If otherwise, let him show his work to the people. He is a goner! |
