Now that the fake video has been exposed, they are back with another fake video to claim that Tinubu is being fed with a medication. Another one is even saying the same left hand is shaking. She appealed to anyone who could connect her with a potential sponsor, saying she was willing to relocate if necessary.

“I only have 60 days. Otherwise, I will have to return to Nigeria, and I don’t want to go back to Nigeria. Please help me,” she added.

Social media user offers a different account

However, the person who shared the video online presented a different account of the events leading to the reported withdrawal of sponsorship.

According to the individual, the woman arrived in the UK about two years ago and allegedly received advice from friends who told her that divorcing her husband could lead to financial support from the government while allowing her to remain in the country.

The individual claimed that the woman subsequently told her husband she no longer wanted to continue the marriage and asked him to prepare for a divorce.

According to the post, the husband agreed to the separation and subsequently withdrew her sponsorship.

The person who shared the video further claimed that the woman was now seeking help to secure alternative immigration sponsorship before the deadline.

These claims about the couple’s marital dispute and the advice allegedly given to the woman have not been independently verified.

She got to the UK 2yrs ago and unfortunately she met friends who told her that if she divorce her husband they'll deport him and start paying her monthly stipends aside the money she will be making there in the UK .

Onion and garlic have offensive odours and it is obligatory to keep the mosque free of offensive odours and to prevent the one who has such an odour from coming to the mosque or staying in it. Al-Bukhaari (5452) and Muslim (564) narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah that the Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever eats garlic or onions, let him keep away from us, or keep away from our mosque and stay in his house.” According to a version narrated by Muslim: “Whoever eats onions or garlic or leeks, let him not come near our mosque, for the angels are offended by the same things that offend the sons of Adam.” And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever has eaten of this plant let him not approach our mosque and annoy us with the smell of garlic.” Narrated by Maalik in al-Muwatta’ (27). Muslim (567) narrated that ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O people, you eat two plants which I find to be nothing but repugnant, this onion and garlic. I remember the Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), if he noticed their smell coming from a man in the mosque, he would issue orders that he taken out to al-Baqee’. Whoever eats them, let him cook them to death.”

It says in Kashshaaf al-Qinaa’ (2/365): It is Sunnah to protect every mosque from all kinds of dirt, filth, mucus, nail clippings and hair removed by clipping the moustache, shaving the head or plucking the armpits, because the mosques were not built for that. It is also Sunnah to protect it from offensive smells such as onion, garlic, leeks and similar things, even if there is no one in the mosque, because the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “the angels are offended by the same things that offend the sons of Adam.” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah); and he said: “Whoever eats from these two plants, let him not come near our place of prayer.” and according to another report: “…let him not come near our mosques.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi who said: It is hasan saheeh.

With regard to the validity of prayer when there is an unpleasant smell in the mouth, it is valid but it is makrooh (disliked). If the prayer is offered in the mosque and this smell is obvious to such an extent that it annoys other worshippers and the angels, then it is haraam. Al-Bukhaari (806) and Muslim (870) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever has eaten of this plant (i.e., garlic), let him not approach our mosque.”

May Allah grant us understanding of His religion

Mrs Kikelomo Atanda-Owo Abati (the wife of Dr Reuben Abati) celebrated her 20th anniversary in the media industry, but the event has been overshadowed by a clash between Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Mr Rufai Oseni.

Mrs Dabiri-Erewa was on stage and talking about responsible journalism when she recounted an issue that developed on Twitter.


“In terms of journalism, there’s no talk about irresponsible journalism. Yes, I’m on Twitter . I hear a lot of things,” Dabiri said.

She said that someone with the Twitter handle Voice of Igbos had a habit of insulting her. She investigated the handle and discovered that it was run by a person named Stephanie who lived in Surulere.

She said that the person attacked her and another person replied and she (Abike Dabiri-Erewa) replied with a smiley emoji.

She said that Rufai Oseni interpreted her response as an endorsement of an offensive reference to the Igbo ethnic group. “Somebody replies to her. Then I do a smiley. And then Rufai Oseni comes and says, Abike Dabiri calls everybody — Igbos — monkeys and gorillas,” she said.

“So that is irresponsible. And then it went viral. Even though I didn’t say Igbos.”

Dabiri said journalists must exercise greater restraint and responsibility, particularly when interpreting or amplifying statements made online.

“We have to ensure that you hold people responsible, but you must be responsible yourself. So we will not accept irresponsible journalism. For you to hold any government official responsible, you must be responsible,” she said.

“And let me tell you, some journalism is going to the dogs. There’s no journalism anymore. There are no standards. There are no values.

“The journalists that we were trained [by] are going to the dogs. There must be values. There must be standards. And not everybody is a journalist, please. That profession is destroyed.”

Rufai Oseni, who was in the audience, said something while Mrs Dabiri-Erewa was speaking but it was not audible because he had no microphone. Mrs Dabiri-Erewa then stood up and raised her voice.
