Nah, it's a traditional dance. I've seen mature SA women host such dances where young girls and little girls perform the dance. The girls move in something resembling a Tiv Swange dance , then lift up their legs very high before stamping them on the ground.

On each foot stomp, the older women chant something and clap in unison while the dancer ends a second movement with another stomp before another girl enters the circle and continues.
