Also there’s the complication that some of the future barrels are being amortised (sold) in advance against loans been taken today, which is horrible idea.
In summary Dangote as a business man is looking at plan b, c to get his crude. What does this mean for the average Nigerian? Most likely that Dangote may not sell to the Nigerian market, so no hope of supply issues easing or fuel price coming down.
He will start suppling Benin, Ghana, Togo etc at market price. If Nigerians hear what that market price is, there may be a riot. So I think he’ll just use the refinery as a regional supply base for Africa.

i dont understand what is really going on in this country, cant dangote buy the crude oil directly from Nigeria? or does Nigeria dont export crude oil again? Nigeria is among the lagest crude oil producing nation in the world, dangote buying crude oil from brazil and the US simply means that he has to pay to ship the oil to Nigeria which is going to influence the price dangote going to sell to making the fuel more expensive to Nigerians. somebody pleas throw more light on this issue because am confused right now
