A few months or years of labour is more than enough duration of time (some career) to put bread on your table and on the tables of all your dependents for a lifetime. The weekly wages of retired professional footballers of African descent who choose to relocate to their country of origin after their footballing career must have elapsed is more than enough to be made for life even with so much extravagance.

Go and verify. Statistics has it that 73% of retired professional footballers go bankrupt after 10 years of retirement from football here in the Western world.
