The truth will outlast us all. Nothing can be hidden forever. Let's just patiently wait AndroBlaze: Ahhh, so all of a sudden Rivers state people voted for an unknown Fubara shey? The same way Rivers people also voted for Tinubu in a landslide over Peter Obi shey?
Stop pretending as if Rivers state election results were not written by one man. If the people had voted for him like you claim, he would have never been so beholden to Wike that he allowed Wike to choose his whole cabinet for him earlier.
History is full of people who started off as criminals and villains who later became heroes. Has Trump ever denied his past? If Fubara, a career thief wants to become a hero, you people should stop pretending and trying to rewrite his history and agree he never had the peopi mandate and was amade Governor without sweating.
Let him fight Wike, thief to thief, and I just pray, the less of a thief wins for the Rivers people and Nigeria's sake. |

We are part of the problem and the country can't move forward with such thinking mentality AndroBlaze: No serious person wants a governor beholden to one man, though the idiot agreed to this when the same man brought him from no where to be made governor.
What serious people are saying is he should fight him in the right way and not ways that make absolutely no sense.

In a story sparking intense online discussion, a man has reportedly withdrawn from a marriage proposal due to a highly demanding traditional bride price list provided by the woman's family.
The incident, shared by social media user Princess Adeola, highlighted the emotional toll on the man and drew attention to cultural practices cthat some argue may discourage potential suitors.
The bride price list, meant to honor the family, included numerous items such as crates of drinks, livestock, clothing, and monetary gifts for various members of the bride’s extended family.
The total value was estimated at ₦3.5 million.
The prospective groom, reportedly eager to marry and even committed to taking the bride abroad and sponsoring her education, expressed heartbreak after realizing the bride herself supported her family's demands, citing the rising costs of living in Nigeria.
Adeola expressed sympathy for the man, describing him as a "good man" who was willing to go to great lengths for his partner. She criticized the bride's family for what she termed "greed" and urged women to advocate for reasonable expectations from their families.
Many online users joined the discussion, debating the relevance and practicality of traditional marriage customs in modern times.
While some defended the practice as a cultural heritage, others viewed it as a hindrance to relationships and an unnecessary financial burden.

What about relative cost advantage theory? What about localization of industry principle? So local prices of a country's owned produce should be sold at international price level? Bro, do you support that we need the local refineries working? Why am I even answering you? Just move on nairalanda1: .
Selling crude in naira was never going to bring down the price of fuel.
Crude is still priced in dollars, it is just being sold in the naira equivalent of the dollar cost, and yes, fluctuations in the exchange would affect the cost of the same crude.
PLUS, refining crude into petrol costs N800 at most. Factor in transport costs, most of it done on diesel trucks...diesel being expensive...and here we are.
That's why we should have removed subsidy since...1993, or even 2012, we would have been over the worst.
Well, at the end, fuel has to be sold at a profit. Not selling fuel at a profit is a big reason why we lost four refineries, had massive corruption in NNPC, and ended up being a net importer of petrol.
Because under subsidy, fuel refining at home is not going to be profitable. |

Do you think Dangote will have the time to be defending this bad government in NL? Jobless and tribalistic youth. UltraSolid: I own several thriving businesses. I think outside the box. Unlike you. There is no doubt at all we must embrace badly-needed reforms, austere in the short term, or die. Nigeria is no different, because of decades of horrendous misrule, to Europe that was emerging from the second world war after 1945.
The continent, perhaps because of a more disciplined and better educated populace, accepted their reality and the need to bite the bullet and endure with reforms that will usher in a brighter future.
Where is Europe today, after the devastation of the second World War, in comparison to Africa? |
