That was my mistake.Lesson learnt.
WebmastersWhat I Got From My Ad. On Stelladimokokorkus Blog by mauri7(op): 7:05am On May 30, 2016
I am a digital marketing intern with a Lagos based digital marketing outfit.Recently I had my first digital media campaign experience,where I had to work to grow the user base of a Lagos tech startup.I saw it as a challenge I could take on and was anxious to start.
It was a two month long campaign and in the first month,I was quite successful;got the client 2,500 signups in six weeks by focusing on advertorials on Linkedin,Facebook and Twitter ;afterwhich I focused on blogs,I did a advertorial on Linda ikeji,Bella naija and got an average of 250 signups,which I felt was good enough.
For the last week of my campaign,I decided to try out a different niche.Someone had told me of Stella Dimoko blog(SDK),and I decided to try it out.I mailed her for her charge,and she gave me her charges.I went for her sponsored post ad which was pecked at 50k.
I made the payment on Saturday morning and the ad was up by midday,I checked back 18 hours later to see the result of my ad and Lo and behold my clients had managed 6 signups in eighteen hours.
By the time it was 36 hours,the signup rate still stood at 6 signups.
I immediately emailed Stella,informed her of my experience and gave her references of results from competing blogs,I also stated to her clear;y her pricing was fraudulently priced.To my surprise,I didnt even get an apology,rather I was told if I had informed her,the aim of my advertorial was to gain signups,she would had redirected me to Lindaikeji.
No problem,but I felt it was a silly response,what else is the aim of an online advertorial for a tech service?Throw funds away :p
I have tried finding review websites for businesses based in Nigeria,but couldnt find any;thus I decided to drop it here.
I will advise all potential digital marketers,entrepreneurs,sales people etc thinking of trying out the SDK blog to kindly look somewhere else if you want maximization for your money.
To roundup,I looked up an analysis of her blog and found this ; http://stelladimokokorkus.com.statstool.com/
From the above link,you noticed Stellas blog averages 3,500 visitors per day,while for Linda ikeji ;http://www.whoismain.com/lindaikejisblog.com.html ,she averages 106k unique visitors daily. The irony is,they both charge the same fee for a sponsored post.
Corruption doesnt end with government,it starts with our day to day interactions.

Not to do with Nigerians but more with Pair.Passengers,and drivers who don't come clean,aren't allowed to use the service.

@donbenedict Well,not on Pair.
All drivers and passenger mandatorily under a strict verification process.Infact the acceptance rate after a passenger or driver signup on Pair,is less than 25%.
