"Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause. Guide our leaders right, help our youths the truth to know. In love and honesty to grow and living just and true. Great lofty heights attain. To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.” Thanks for reading this. GOD BLESS NIGERIA NIGERIA @60 #MAXI_THRIEVE #maxi_ken_nexus |
Arise O Compatriots. Nigeria's Call Obey. Thinking about Nigeria at 60 and what it has achieved. Thinking about this nation's resources and the average standard of living of its citizens, a lame man would deduce that something is wrong. People prefer Nigeria (@40) of the year 2000 to the one of now. Even the government can't deny the fact that the Nigeria (@20) of the year 1980 is better than the one of year 2000. What have we done. Arise O Compatriots. What is responsible for this? It's crystal clear the people are. Who are they? The legislature? The judiciary? The executives? Or the masses? The masses believe the government is responsible, but as a unit, I believe everyone is. To start with, the masses vote for those they want in power. For me, you vote for those you believe in, so why should they be the cause of the problem. I stopped blaming the people in government when I looked at how power is being misused in every form and level in the country. I'll give examples of some of those who blame the government. The teachers that do not complete teaching the syllabus. The teachers that do not go to school regularly and get paid every month. The teachers that beat students for being late to school when the teacher is also late. Parents that can't say sorry to their children when they realise they beat them for what they did not do. An elder brother that never shares what is given to them in correct proportion. The youngest child of the family too, also cheat on those he is older than in the neighbourhood. Even religious leaders are not sincere with their followers. This is how power is being misused at every level in the country. Superiority is being used everywhere, everyday to cheat those who seem inferior. The people in government are just average Nigerians with more power. WHAT IS THE MASSES'S SOLUTION TO NIGERIA PROBLEM? Arise O Compatriots. There are practically two solutions. One is temporary while the other is permanent. I am not a fan of violence and war, but I will tell you the two solutions involve masses taking a firm stand. The temporary one: This is Nigeria breaking. Breaking of the country into 3 countries based on its three largest ethnic groups will bring government closer to the people, it will also bring about peace to the regions because only people with similar reasoning live and decide together. These regions won't survive and that is because the force that break the first country is not addressed. With time the people wound not be able to tolerate each other, they would see one another as different, give themselves identities and break into smaller groups driven by self interests. The permanent solution. Oh the permanent solution. This is everyone with no regard to race, religion or zone coming together to fight for one purpose, that is protecting the general interest of our fatherland and her image globally. Each individual may feel inferior, but together we are strong. Senators and other representatives at all levels are selected to be our voice at the top, if they are not responsible, we come together and voice out as one. We stop working when a rule is made that we are not happy with. We stop working when the price of goods increases with not just cause. We stop working to protest the killing of our brothers and sisters in some regions, we demand to know what the security agencies are doing? We stop working when the educational structure is not good to protect the future of our youths. We stop working to know why government officials don't get themselves treated with the facilities they provide for us in the country. (We make sure all sectors stop working) And we don't start work until our demands are met.... This will leave the government with no choice. It will help improve the government of the day and the one of the future. (LOOKING FORWARD TO NIGERIA @80) (LOOKING FORWARD TO A BETTER NIGERIA) *CONCLUSION BELOW*
