Star Wars was once seemingly technological stagnant. However, new canon has done a decent job showing that their is progression across the years in the fields of science and technology. However, with FTL travel being completely run of the mill, as is anti-gravity/artificial gravity, true artificial intelligence, holography; what do you think the scientists of the CANON Star Wars galaxy are working on? Research on my part, has concluded that (technological)teleportation and time travel have been deemed impossible; their are 3 military ideas in the Call for Heroes FFG sourcebook (but who knows if its canon), and in the Han Solo, their is a wormhole gate that they obviously aren't studying; instead using it as a racing conduit (although they do admit it is technology that they don't understand). What else could a scientist in the SW galaxy be working on besides silly kyber crystals which could be figured out in a year tops?
