I've used many 4000mah battery phones including Gionee M2 and am typing now with THL 4000 I ordered from Elijahdre back then.Infinix hot note fast charging tech is its highest selling point for me but I as a person like being downright candid about side effects of whatever excellent stuff people extol. The side effect in this case is that it takes a far longer time to charge on a powerbank or other chargers as compared to other 4000mah phones I've used probably due to the complexities of the fast charging tech.

A remedy of course is not by any means to stop fast charging tech but rather for Infinix to make spare fast chargers available for purchase for those that may damage or loose their chargers in near future or even provide accompanying fast charging power banks for sale. It's a win win for them and satisfaction to customers.

and also know vividly that a software upgrade can fix it. i noticed that devices that only connects to a PC via "media mode" instead of "USB mode" only charges very slowly even with most chargers too

u guyz should stop....its not worth it.

I have had the phone for two weeks now and I have been a silent reader of this thread and only decided to post to address some of the issues you raised.

1. User experience varies by individuals and that affects performance.

2. The battery is NOT overhyped. I am a china procurement agent (yes, I'm promoting myself )
and I am on the phone from 8am to around 8pm, with regular browsing on H+, chats and voice calls and I still have enough juice at the end of the day. I am a power user and I can confidently go out without carrying my charger. For a regular user, he/she can squeeze two days out of it.

3. I have not had any issue concerning copying files from a PC (I speak for myself though)

4. I have not had any issue with deleted sms reappearing.

5. Speaking about cons, the only issues I have with the phone are that the capacitive keys are not backlit and my whatsapp for some strange reasons lags before it loads, that said, these are very minor issues I can live with.

6. If you discover more cons, its probably peculiar to your unit not a widespread thing.

7. I upgraded to the latest update and I saw improvements in the call log and ability to delete multiple sms at once. No other significant improvement though.


8. In summary, to everyone reading this,if you want to order for the phone, go ahead. It's a great deal at this price point.

i can delete multiple sms and i havent updated ma device yet.

for sure it'd came with gestures n light notification...but cant tell bout the hotness or ba3 juice like under intense gamin conditions cos i dont own the device

I updated mine this morning without any problem.. I'll advise those that intend to update theirs to:
1. Make use of wifi for the download
2. Follow the upgrade instructions carefully i.e i. Download the update ii. install the downloaded update then iii. Upgrade.

NB. Don't attempt to bypass any of the procedure and finally, do not switch off or attempt to disrupt your device when its booting after the upgrade. This is not a guarantee that your device will not be bricked but i guess the advice would be very helpful.

So with tha new update what changes did u notice on the device?

If you want actual Lollipop na to buy phone with Lollipop... Cos waiting for it on Infinix Zero is a hopeless notion ✔

even if its a lollipop themed, that's why its called UNOFFICIAL or CUSTOM ROMz....one stil have to get the feeling without having to purchase a fone with the Android L version
