Hlo, your story is great. I'm loving it. Pls, note the use of 'live' which means to be alive or to inhabit. However, 'leave' is to desert someone or something. I think 'leave' fits in in this case.

Number one observation is that the author should avoid using small letter g for the Almighty God except you are referring to a small god.
Also, so far, the issue of being single at close to thirty and above has been termed MISFORTUNE which is not meant to be. Marriage is not a do or die affair. Singlehood is a stage to be enjoyed & a time to prepare well for marriage, not a time to waste on tension, being miserable till the next unfortunate man comes. My humble advice.
