In the efforts to win Wizkid over following their reported management crisis, Banky W has run to Wizkid’s mum for support.

A source in EME stated on Thursday that the US returnee went to the woman seeking her intervention in the crisis as it was becoming clearer that the two might eventually part ways.

He was said to have appealed to the woman’s sentiment by reminding her of how he helped propel Wizzy’s career to greatness.
“You know women, she felt compassion for Banky and promised to talk to her son,” the source told R.
Immediately words got to Wizkid that Banky had spoken with his mother, Wizkid tweeted: “Don’t take loyalty for stupidity... Don’t!”

Wizkid had previously tweeted: “Moving on to start all over again!…F--k it!..”
Banky has continued to shut down reports of Wizkid’s likely exit as he described as ‘nothing but rumours’ the reports that all is not well between the two.

He maintained that “Wizkid remains a member of the EME family.
Banky told R that “there is no problem that can’t be solved” in Lagos during the world press conference organised by COSON at the Protea Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, in response to question on what was wrong between him and Wizkid.

According to Reliable sources,Covenant University has sent out messages to the parents of some expelled students informing them that their wards have been recalled.

About 3 weeks ago,the institution expelled over 200 students for different cases.

probably due to pressure from parents,NUC and human rights activists, the school had to review the cases of some students.

Good news is,some of the expelled students are no longer expelled,bad news is the punishment was reduced to 4 weeks suspension.

Dear readers, recently i was having a chat with someone when the issue of Sani Abacha's death came up, my friend stated that Abacha died from natural causes but i did not believe him because right from when i was little i was told that he died from eating a poisoned apple and how happy nigerians were when he died.

There's an Abuja based 29 year old woman, Lynn Nguseer Adi, who is accusing newly married actor Charles Nnojie of being the father of her young daughter. Lynn said she and Charles dated for 10 months in 2011 and he was all over her until she got pregnant. She claims Charles Nnojie was initially cool with the pregnancy, but when she was three months, he asked her to get an abortion.

What Lynn didn't know was that Charles was in another long-time relationship with Obehi Obhiseh, the woman he married in November. Obehi is heavy now.

Despite the fact that some weeks have passed since the fire disaster that wiped out five children of Mr. & Mrs. Augustine Ikwuagwu on Comfort Oboh Street, Kirikiri Town, Lagos, its bitter memory still lingers.
Indeed, the tragedy has been a nightmare to the couple. When a source met with the couple recently, pain and agony have overwhelmed them, as they recounted their loss.

Speaking amid tears, Mrs Margaret Ikwuagwu, said her fine kids, Chukwuemeka (13), Ifeanyichukwu (10), Bright (, Joy (6) and Victoria (4) were sleeping in the house when the incident started at 10pm. She said that all efforts to rescue the children failed. “I asked my children to go and sleep in the room while I was preparing to close shop for the day.

Then, shortly, someone ran to tell me that our house was on fire. I abandoned everything I was doing and ran down to the house. When I got there, the fire had already covered the whole place and I could not enter my room to rescue my children,” she said. Mrs Ikwuagwu explained that she cried for help, but no one came to her aid. “When I got there, I met a mammoth. My co-tenants were busy removing their children and property.
They started the rescue as soon as the fire broke out, but never bothered to inform me that our house was on fire. I tried to rescue our children, but I could not because the fire had covered our room. I heard the voices of my children shouting. But could not save the situation. I cried for help, but no one assisted me. “I forced myself inside the room when I heard my children crying for help, with the hope that I would bring out at least one or two, but I ended up being burnt by fire; so I ran out.” The woman revealed that as she was shouting, her husband arrived at the scene.

A 33-year-old Zimbabwe National Army soldier was reportedly forced to drink an unknown substance by three women who later took turns to be intimate with him before dumping him in a bushy area on the outskirts of Gweru.

After regaining consciousness, the soldier reported the attack at Gweru Central Police Station. Police said the soldier reported that the attack occurred last Sunday between 8am and 11:30am.

Midlands Police spokesperson Inspector Leonard Chabata said the soldier was at Amtec Motors in Gweru hitching lifts to Harare.

"A white BMW picked him at around 8am. The vehicle had three female passengers and a man who was driving," said Insp Chabata.

Upon approaching Ridgemont turn-off, one of the women allegedly took a container from her handbag and sprayed an unknown substance on the soldier. Insp Chabata said the soldier, who felt weak after the substance was sprayed on his body, was then forced to drink some unknown substance and fell unconsciousness.

"At around 11:30am, the complainant gained consciousness and discovered that he had been dumped in a bushy area about 100m away from the highway. He also discovered that his pair of trousers and undergarments had been removed. All his belongings were at the scene where he was dumped," said Insp Chabata.

He said the soldier, who suspected that he could have been sexually abused by the women, later went and reported the matter at Gweru Central Police Station. Insp Chabata appealed to members of the public, who might have information that can help in the arrest of the suspects, to approach any nearest police station.

"We are also appealing to members of the public to always use public transport when travelling," he said.

The FRSC announced recently that the Minimum age required for an individual to start driving in Nigeria is 26 years.

According to Christopher Ademoluti,Kwara State sector commander of FRSC while speaking at the inauguration of commercial driver’s licence in Ilorin said the measure would ensure that only mature commercial drivers would have the opportunity to drive and convey others.

“We want to peg the minimum age of a commercial driver in Nigeria at 26 to enable them have the experience, maturity and expertise to drive and convey people, unlike the present situation where we have underage people like 16-year-olds driving commercial vehicles,” he said.
