@the first bolded.... Firmino is actually a core false9 at Liverpool... since klopp took over,he's been converted to a full false 9.. The reason he isn't scoring much is because he open up plays a lot for other forwards... Awaziem has made 21 appearances which is not bad at all.. Most of the games, he missed was due to injury. He only stayed on the bench all through 5 times this season.

You seem to forget that this is Awaziem first season in the French top flight. At his age, he does not have as much experience as Yobo but Yobo was no defensive general.

That said players develop at different rates. I think Awaziem has the potential to be better than Yobo at his prime.

At 23 yobo went on loan to Everton from Tenerife, a move he later made permanent. At 19 Awaziem was already a starter for former European champions FC PORTO.
